went in with my friend to grab a bubble tea. it was extremely grubby and gross feeling inside. stuff all over the walls, trash cans overflowing, door handle to only bathroom broken. they were overstaffed when i was there too so evidently nobody cares about

Today, I ordered a milk tea w/ puff cream & boba that satisfied my boba cravings. I also indulged in a warm and fresh bubble waffle, which I highly recommend trying. Don't forget to pair it with the delicious Oreo dipping sauce for an extra treat! ?

Second time here :) So far, I have only tried their Brown Sugar Milk, Milk Tea with Pudding, and Taro - all hot. I was afraid they would be overly sweet like other boba places so I requested for 50% sweet and then 70% sweet on my second visit but next time I am going to just order them with regular sugar - Basically, they are not overly sweet, just perfect!I also have been searching for hot boba and not only does this place make it, but they also make HK style egg waffles!!! And - they know how to make these properly: crispy outside with chewy inside, not soggy or cold when served, served quickly. No long waits. The staff all seemed nice. Sometimes the ones making the drinks look less smiley, but they do get a bit of traffic, so I understand they are just busy!We are excited to try their cold drinks when the weather gets warmer. ?

Visiting Seattle and decided to stop by and grab a bite to eat by the airport after we landed. My wife and daughter wanted boba, and we stumbled on Happy Lemon. The staff was very friendly and helpful and recommended a ton of drinks to try. We ended coming back the next day to try some more flavors. Daughter's favorite was the strawberry shortcake. Son's favorite was the matcha latte with salted creme. I had the ube milk with taro balls. Make sure you reduce the sugar otherwise the drinks are too sweet. I ordered 70% on the ube milk, but should have gone down to 50% or 25%. 70% was good for the strawberry shortcake and matcha latte.

Since moving to Renton from Houston a couple of years ago, this has been the first place I've found to really satisfy my milk tea cravings. Their flavor is most similar to my old place back home, and nearly just as good!I usually get the taro milk tea w/ boba (half ice & reg. sugar) as an occasional treat for myself, which they make consistently about 90% of the time. I've also tried the Tiger Sugar drink, which is nice if you're in the mood for a more milky and extra sweet flavor - I like that one when it's cold and/or rainy and I have a sweet tooth. This is also where I discovered the glorious bubble waffle. Oh my goodness that thing is AMAZING, especially alongside the tea (albeit very filling together haha). The scent and flavor of the waffle is almost like a 50/50 mixture of pancake and regular vanilla cake, with a lovely, fluffy-yet-stretchy texture that is pure joy to tear apart and dip into the puff cream. It's a whole experience. Sometimes they do tend to overcook the waffle, which makes it crispy in places and gives it a bit of a stale texture that takes away from what I described.Overall, highly recommend!

Ordered around 4pm, set the pick up time at 6:15pm, message received around 4:30pm and said ready to pick up. My smoothie melted when I picked up. Not sure if the refrigerate my drink or not.

Really tasty drinks. We got strawberry shortcake smoothie, Ube, Mango, Strawberry black tea and brown sugar boba with cheese. Everything was wonderful. I forgot to request reduced sugar on the teas, so it was a bit sweet, but still good. The smoothies were normal and not too sweet. The atmosphere is clean, bright and cute and has seating.

I ordered the Oreo puff milk tea and sea salt jasmine to go. The takeout is packed poorly. Those flimsy cardboard cup holders do nothing. Luckily the Oreo puff milk tea was sealed but for some reason the sea salt jasmine green tea was not sealed on top and it had tipped over in the bag. The entire drink was out in the bag. I did not get to enjoy it. I tossed it out. It's disappointing that such a large chain bubble tea shop doesn't have proper take out materials. I also had the bag upright the whole time, even carrying it in my lap on the way home in the car. The bag was set on my table when I got home. When I opened the bag the drink was sideways like it was too large for the cardboard carrier. They are not meant for such tall drinks. Maybe the company should consider sealing all drinks for take out orders in the future for safety?

I've been making my way to a lot of bubble tea places lately. For as many locations as this place has, I was looking forward to trying them. Not only is their menu actually quite small compared to most, but I found their boba to be hard and not well prepared. Several were still crunchy, and they were still so sticky that most of them stuck to the bottom. The tea itself was ok- I got the standard. Nothing outstanding, but just fine. Service was ok- you can tell it's like Starbucks- get in, order, get out. I do like the tall skinny cups.

This is the first Happy Lemon I’ve seen without a line out the door! It’s conveniently placed near the mall and in an up and coming shopping center. Finding parking was really easy and the wait to order and then receive our drinks was minimal.I went in a group of four. There are a lot of options on the menu, but the menu doesn’t seem to be very traditional and leans more on the creative and dessert like side. I ordered the milk tea with pudding/boba/lychee, my partner ordered the seasonal blended taro with mango boba, and my friend and their partner ordered the blended Oreo drink and traditional milk tea with boba. The drinks are all really sweet and there is a lot of room for customization, which is really fun! You can make sure you get a drink that meets your needs. The store is also laid out nicely, so there was a good amount of seating with cute decor. The only downside is that as more customers came in, the staff turned up the music so loud that even sitting at a small table in our group, we had to be shouting to hear over the music. Someone in our group even wondered if the staff wanted customers to start leaving and that’s why the music was turned up so loud. But there were only 3 groups of 4 people in the seating area, and none were being too loud. It also wasn’t busy either, as the staff members were all hanging out behind the counter talking. But again, I don’t mind staff not being busy, I just want to hear my friends while sitting together. For a quick drink, this is a nice place to visit, especially if anyone in your group is new to bubble tea, but not really somewhere to hangout.
