Delicious food, great service and nice ambiance!! Makes me feel home everytime we dine in at Max's restaurant. The crispy pata was the best I've ever had, crispy and juicy inside. Not salty, just the exact taste and the sauce that came with it was perfect. The pinakbet was really good, just the exact taste I really wanted. And of course, fried chicken was so delicious!!! The fried rice was the best match for all of the dishes!!!I highly recommend for those who wanted authentic Filipino food with great service and very reasonable price!

I always order lechon kawali whenever we visit Max. Sad to say it was not very good today. I had to ask them to fix it coz it was not crunchy and it didn’t seem newly cooked. The halo halo ice was not crushed but more ground so there were lots of pebble like ice pieces AND it was served in plastic see-through cup, unlike what’s in their picture. Oh well, I won’t venture all the way here anymore.

Max at Tukwila, VERY DISAPPOINTING. I came at noon, I ordered Chicharon Bulaklak and was told, they are sold out. I said , how can they be gone and sold out , you just opened an hour ago ? Their CRISPY PATA was not golden brown but color BLACK,, which means they used a VERY OLD OUL.LECHON KAWALI was 60% FAT, HALO HALO had only 3 ingredients and need to find it on the container,.

I go to Asian restaurants, the rice price is included with the main dish, sometimes only $2.00 or free. Not here, rice for two people is $8.00. Wow! Times are really hard, huh! Also, one of the booths seats have a rip and they taped it but I didn’t realize the tape was also on my pants until after I got up from the chair to leave. I told them about it but they told me they could give me food for the pants. I washed my pants and the adhesive ruined my pants. What does food have to do with a ruined pants? Food is only temporary but my pants I have to throw it away.

I'm filipino and I wholly support my people and food, but this establishment is the worst! We called to order but no answer so we ordered online. They make you tip for pick up and there was no way of canceling it. I don't mind tipping if I'm eating in, but even when I went to pick up my food 20 min AFTER it was supposed to be ready, I was told by the front that they just got the order I placed 50 min ago. I wanted to cancel my order but they said they could not do it. So my food was not even prepared yet, I paid for a tip that was mandatory (almost $20 for a $91 order), and I had to wait for my food.

Base on my experience, the wait time for food after putting in an order averages between 30-40 min. I like their kare-kare so much that I tolerate the long wait times. Their fried chicken is best served with garlic rice.

I'm from the Bay Area and have been to Max's there. I was visiting my family in the Seattle area and wanted them to try out Max's. Unfortunately they didn't get that chance. They are severely understaffed. There was no one at the entrance. It took 10 minutes before any of the staff acknowledged us and seated us.And we waited another 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order, bring us drinks. We gave up and leftThe restaurant wasn't even at 25% capacity.

Food was good priced way to high for what you get just seems to be another Filipino chain restaurant (that's right I'm looking at you jollibee) that's taking advantage of amazing simple food priced way too high. It's not bad but it's not anything special. Please support smaller mom and Pop Filipino restaurants better food better price and better atmosphere.

Got here around 12pm on a Sunday and plenty of seats available. It's spacious and not cramped. Started to get more busy an hour later. Service is great and server is friendly. Got the lechon kawali sisig, kare-kare, and garlic rice. The portions seem a bit small for the price, but overall really tasty and hits the spot. Would definitely go back again when I crave them filipino food.

Amazing food and service! The food is authentic and there is a good selection of classic Filipino dishes. We always love coming here!

This was a great introduction to Filipino food! Holy cow the bicol express was amazing. Sour soup and adobo... All great. Server was nice, atmosphere is definitely family style. A bit like a cafeteria...

Was really excited to try this place as the menu pictures looked really good. However, I was disappointed in some respects with the reality. Staff was super friendly and the area was spacious and clean. The food came out all at once. So no separate courses. Overall, the food came out lukewarm. Bordering on cool. The Bulolo was tasty. Meat was tender and soup flavorful. It was the best dish but should have been hot. The lumpia was little bite size lumpia and was perfect temp. The fried chicken was juicy and also perfect temp. The pork Adobo was super disappointing. The meat was super tough. The flavor was there but the meat was so tough you could barely bite through it. Very disappointed. The price is pretty high for portion size too.

Max is one of my favorite go to places for Filipino food. Never a disappointment on the food. Service was a bit slow and our waters never got refilled. We had to ask for more water while others around us had pitchers of water at their table. We spent about a good 1.25hr there in total from the time we sat down to time we finished our food and left. Took a good 40 mins before we actually got our food.
