This place look so unsanitary, right when you walk in you have second thought about your order. There was a super young girl that cane from the back to go and prepare my food even though I arrived 20 mins after I called. So then I had to wait for my food to be done, I could swear I heard her turn a microwave on. Anyways I ate it yesterday and my stomach hasn't been the same. Woke up this morning with major pain. Might have to go to the doctors to be honest. I can't even stand straight without feeling discomfort!

Wow, what an amazing and unique taste. I also ordered takeout upon arrival and they had me out of there in 10 mins. There was so much food that we had lunches for the next day. An amazing little gem!

The portions are very large and the food its self has so much flavour. Very affordable. Be sure to try some of their hot sauce which is thick and creamy. The atmosphere is super laid back and definitely not charming but remember you are going for the food. Be sure to actually speak with the staff for they can tell you alot about the food and once a conversation has started they fill you with happiness.

What a meal! Take your taste buds on an adventure and have some Somali food. It was a "unique" experience never having had Somali food before, but I'd stop here on my next visit to the SeaTac area. I'll be honest, it doesn't look like much when you pull up, fairly basic & nothing fancy about it, but the food... You will leave with your taste buds wow-ed. This was a random food stop we made for dinner, but we are so glad we did. Talk about delicious! We had a mixed plate of meat and rice. The goat meat had so much flavor! The lamb was savory. The chicken was tasty. The rice was some of the best I've had. Honestly... try the goat.
3 stars for atmosphere, five for the food. Flavor: very interesting, I had not had Somalian cuisine before, but this was in the top ten meals I've had this year. Genuine Somalian, the lady who recommended my dish is from Mogadishu. I will return to Salaama many times. If you are bored and wondering whether to have Chinese or Italian again, think Somalian...this is a splendid place for lunch, fast service, & it wasn't busy. No alcohol, no problem.

Would give this a 0 star if I could. Went in and people were everywhere. Outside on streets and scattered throughout store. I go in, there's a guy on a phone who sees me and walks away while I'm standing at register. When he gets back, I ask is there someone here to take my order he says 'Yeah what do you want?'. There's no menu and I never been there before and saw the restaurant here online and asked for a menu. Instead of a menu he discusses with another lady, and just offer basic. 'We have chicken, rice, things like that.'No help. Couldn't take that kind of customer service even if they were the only one in the area serving that type of cuisine.

Happen to be here because we were in the neighborhood for some work. Went by the reviews and rating and came to try this place. Don't be fooled by the ratings, the place is dead. We ordered the fish and chicken, it was really bad. We should have left when we saw the restaurant empty during peak lunch hours, but my husband insisted on the great reviews and rating. The rice is dry and flavorless, the meat was too dry. I would never come back here.

This was a very good experience! We ordered almost in the middle of the night -- 11;30pm. This was our first experience with this restaurant. They called us minutes after the order to let us know they'd run out of one of the ingredients, and offering us several alternatives. They were super accommodating! We made our selections and the food arrived faster than we anticipated. Now, because of our household pets, we have some special instructions for the delivery drivers and our Uber driver was PERFECT. Once we tasted our food and I feel I should share that we had never tried this ethnicity of food before, we were very pleased. It wasn't our favorite ethnicity but the food was, regardless, VERY well prepared and very tasty! This was a fantastic experience, and we will order from them again! So accommodating and so very responsive!
