“This is the most authentic Sichuan food on the entire West Coast. I first visited the original location in LA and was very impressed and have since visited Chengdu Taste in Honolulu and Las Vegas too. Always good food. The Seattle location is my favorite however because the restaurant's interior is very cozy and bright. Service is always very fast and attentive. The dishes are huge and the staff always helps putting them in to-go containers when we ask. My favorite dishes are Toothpick lamb, water boiled fish, and dumplings. They used to offer really good crispy chicken wings but last time I went it's no longer on the menu. I hope they bring it back.“
“Amazing chewy flat biang biang noodles. I got the mala beef soup, wasn’t extremely spicy but had great flavor and numbing taste. I suggest not getting the pork rib add in, I’m neutral towards pork rib and I was full and couldn’t finish it, $8 is also too pricey for just a rib imo.“
“staff are very nice and helpful, they help you cook. atmosphere is nice and clean and food is great! i got a mild spicy broth and it was soooo spicy so next time i’m gonna get extra mild. the tomato broth is good and not really spicy and the vegetables and beef are so good.“
“A friendly place with nice food!We ordered deep fried string beans, pepper chicken and mapo tofu, all three dishes were flavorful and good! String beans were 镬气 (iykyn) enough. Mapo tofu was savory and not too spicy, perfect to top on a bowl of rice. Pepper chicken was my favorite, chicken was crispy yet not too oily, and there were no bones so it was supper convenient to eat. We were full but still have enough food left for another meal. Definitely will come back to try other dishes.Vegetarian options: There’s a veggie section on the menu. For vegetarian that can handle some spicy, try mapo tofu and deep fried string beans! So good!“
“The steamed soup dumplings are the highlight here. The sampler platter was quite an experience, with each color dumpling matching its flavor (pork, vegetable, egg, mushroom, etc.)! Very impressive. Dan dan noodles were just okay, a little too oily. Happy hour pricing is also still quite pricey.“
“Homey spot for fresh dumplings. This place was great! Their dumplings warm and not doughy. The Xiao long bao was quite tasty. For an evening dinner after a long day, this was worth it.If you get the chance, please support this small business along with the others nearby as the very much need it.“
“Pipa Mountain Hot Pot (渝味晓宇重庆老火锅) offers an authentic and flavorful Chongqing hot pot experience. The diverse selection of fresh ingredients, including premium meats and vegetables, ensures a high-quality dining experience. The broth options, true to Chongqing tradition, are rich and aromatic, elevating the overall taste of the hot pot. The attentive and knowledgeable staff adds to the positive atmosphere, providing excellent service throughout the meal. With its genuine Chongqing flavors and welcoming ambiance, Pipa Mountain Hot Pot is a standout choice for those seeking an exceptional hot pot adventure.“
“We ordered the Crispy Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce, the Mongolian Beef, and Chicken Fried Rice. All the dishes were fantastic. We will definitely go again. It's tucked away in a hidden little strip mall. It is clean and the staff are friendly, but it isn't what I would call fancy.“
“This place is not far-away from where I live, a small fast food place specializing in pork hock dishes, it is the same from the Vancover Wan Luan Pork Hock place Environment: casual atmosphere, perfect for a quick bite or a takeaway meal, relatively small, with limited seating optionsService: the boss is a very nice Taiwanese, he will talk a lot with you hahaThe Pork Hock Original: The meat was tender and succulent, cooked to perfection. It had a savory flavor with hints of spices and herbs, complemented by a slight smokinessWan Luan Pork Hock with 3 Flavor Sauce: using the traditional 3 flavor sauce of chicken way to cook the hock, the combination of sweet, savory, and slightly spicy flavors was a true treat for the taste buds. a balanced blend of soy sauce, garlic, onion, basil and chili“
“This restaurant is huge with multiple rooms, but is understaffed. They tried to squeeze way too many tables with a table even almost right in the doorway. It's freezing at that table whenever anyone opens the front door. I think we only got our waters refilled once if at all, but we probably could have gotten more if we tried. It also took a while to get the check. We basically had one dish with each type of protein - free range chicken soup with cordyceps flower, steamed flounder with tofu, shredded pork with dry bean curd, and stir fried filet mignon, but also ordered the vegetable medley and "eggplants in hot garlic sauce".The chicken soup feels too overpriced, especially with the server spilling a bunch of it when pouring into the bowls. The shredded pork with dry bean curd and the eggplants in garlic sauce were both my favorite dishes. Their menu is huge, so there's going to be something for everyone. It seems like this restaurant is good for spicy dishes, even though we didn't have any.Parking: Tight parking spots“
“This place is so tasty and the service is always over the top. Been coming here years and glad it survived covid. Used to be super busy every night. Tonight sat alone w/ family in restaurant at 6:45pm - no other patrons except take out. Asked what kind of tea they serve as my son loves it. They gave us a big takehome container free of charge. Love this place!“
“This place is awesome and flies under the radar for a lot of folks. My favorite chicken wings in Seattle are here. They also offer a wide array of very interesting Szechuan items. We got the whole roasted fish and loved it. Looking forward to our next visit!“
“My son Henry and I were visiting Seattle from California. Henry and I were pleasantly surprised at just how authentic and good the food really was. We both ate so much we couldn't move. We highly recommend it. Bring friends take some home. We're already planning another trip just so we can eat here again.“
“Delicious food. We had eggplant tofu with basil, combo fried rice and hot and sour soup. The Coca Cola was ice cold and refreshing. Everything was hot. Service was quick and very friendly. The food was definitely worth the money and the experience. Authentic. Fresh. Quiet and comfortable atmosphere. We will return soon!“
“Went for Christmas Eve dinner and food was excellent and service was quick. Dishes and flavors were authentic. The spicy dishes are ? so be warned.Got the green onion pancake, wontons in chili oil, dried pot tofu , beef dried pot, fried chicken cubes in chili peppers, schezwan chicken, green beans, stir fry noodles, potatoes.Only the wontons in chili oil were disappointing, would not get them again.“
