While on a trip, staying at a nearby hotel, we decided to grab some food from Taco del Mar, as it was very close by. I walked over and upon entering the store, found only a few people dining in and two being helped. Not too busy for a Saturday evening. Ordered up our choices (small chicken burrito, 2 fish tacos, kid's chicken taco, rice, beans, chips and guac). Took it back to the hotel to eat. I have to say, for fast food, this was good. The chicken was shredded and seasoned. It has good flavor. The burrito was good. The guac was smooth and pretty tasty, as well. The fish tacos were enjoyed, as was the kid's taco. The service was great, too.

The food was cold. Tables were dirty, and they are overcharging, The price listed on wall is not what they are charging. Instead of 1.50 extra of cheese ect they are charging $3 plus. They are right by the family fun center so I was shocked that it was so mediocre should be a way better restaurant by such a fun place, I will NOT be back.

Decent place, very roomy inside. I was the only one in there when I went. Service was good,.had a little mix up on the price for the special on Sunday but he corrected it right away.

The portions are so small and i can tell they have been sitting out for a long time and are no longer anywhere near fresh. Not only this but the queso they served was obviously watered down and they filled the container less than halfway. This level of cheapness is alarming and possibly dangerous if they are using food thats been out for a long time.

I came here to grab two bean and cheese burritos and was charged $25 . The same price for a regular burrito. If I had gotten a regular mondo burrito with meat and all the other stuff I can understand but refried beans and cheese should not cost more than $4-5. Never coming here again.

I could not understand what the employees were asking as their english was not great. Difficulty understanding questions and answers on both sides. Patronizing when asking clarification question. Food wasn't very good. Got the enchilada plate, and maybe im crazy but ground beef on a tortilla is not an enchilada. Everything else, rice beans lettuce, etc was all stacked haphazardly on top of each other. Ambiance was fine Not impressed, wouldn't go back. Never made a yelp review before, but it bad enough to warrant the effort of making an account

Nice create your own Taco's and burritos shop. Like Moe's in Florida.The chicken burritos were full of fillings, but not very tasty or flavorfull. Service was great and the restaurant was nice looking and clean. Queso ? cheese was good. Salsa was bland. Chips were good.
Amazing beans and beef quesadilla. I've never been to one before and I had a very enjoyable experience, will be sure to go to another one in the future. Staff was very friendly and I could tell they knew what they were doing.

EDIT: Kicked me out for Mother's day (thought to tell me about their two-hour dining rule after a week of already dining there for more than that), wifi is never available. Retracting my 5 star, updating to 1 star. Atmosphere is meh, there's a theme to the environment but....it's just odd and indiscernible. The service is lackluster, and the employees (literally only two of them) barely speak elementary-level English, creating a communication gap that can't transcend rudimentary point-and-nod interaction. The food is cold.I wish the AI revolution would start already.

Out of any taco Del Mar this is the biggest one I’ve ever seen. With almost all the the options to add to your food. The staff people are really nice and the food quality is fairly good. That’s important because some taco Del Mar franchisees mix the sauces to a point where they have no flavor and never have certain options ready when you walk in. None of that is true at this location.
