“There's many bars / taverns / pubs etc. around the general area but this has become my partner and I's favorite and most visited spot to go out for food and drinks. They have an amazing beer selection and there food is made with so much love and soul.Everything on their menu is great from my experience but also they have a unique entree on special every day and a different scratch-made soup each day of the week. My partner and I order the specials almost every time we go: the entree or the soup or both! And they never disappoint. Their clam chowder (w/ bacon) is the best I've ever had. From their regular menu I highly recommend the french dip sandwich or any burger.“
“This place is awesome. I love coming here. I love their liquor selection and I also love their pizza. The calzones are really good too. It's a good vibes and good times every time I'm here and a very friendly staff. I can't pinpoint how many times I've been here but of course I always get a pizza and some beers. I'm so happy this place is still around even during the pandemic.“
“When my friend and I are in the mood to go out dancing we head to Dawson's. I find a lot of Joy in dancing and don't mind dancing all night by myself. We especially like to go when the T-Birds are playing. The last time we went my dentist Dr. Hickey was filling in for them. Next time I go, I will probably be when he is playing with his band. We like to go early and order the fish and chips and our service has always been excellent. Thank you, Denise“
“I rarely leave reviews, but my husband and I were so impressed by this establishment, I felt it necessary. We were traveling through and have never eaten at a Hops n Drops before, but we were told at our hotel they were a decent pub style restaurant, and genuinely, they are. For a chain restaurant, we were very impressed with the quality of food and drinks- everything we had was delicious. We appreciated they had a variety of options for those with dietary restrictions (gf) and were so helpful suggesting substitutions. More noteworthy, however, was the service we received. Every staff member we encountered, every single one, was polite and genuinely friendly. That being said, our server, Ari, was exceptional, truly. My husband and I were so impressed by her professionalism and people skills. If we are ever back in the area, we will make this a stop due to our interaction with her alone.“
“Service was amazing, after my fair share of alcohol. Decided it was time for food.....I have doordashed .y fair share of food, but this was literally the best burger I've had in Tacoma so far. 5 guys, red robin, and Wendy's be damned..... definitely recommend“
“I was craving deep fried pickles, so i googled it and this place came up. Me and my wife sat at the bar, ordered our food to go and had a couple beers while we waited. The wait staff was super friendly and attentive to us even with a full saturday night crowd. When we got home, i regretted getting the "stupid hot" sauce on my wings because DAMN! Lol. I love spicy, and the name lives up the heat. Luckily, i also got some garlic parmesan wings that were delicious, the deep fried pickles and a side salad. We cant wait to come back and dine in.“
“Went in on a Thursday afternoon with my friend for a drink and a bite to eat. We happened to go during happy hour so our drinks were $3.50 !!!!!!! Needless to say mama got a cheap buzz so that's a good start right there. Typical bar food ... I got the chicken strip basket + fries it was yummy. Terry the bartender was such a sweetheart. She was slangin' drinks AND making all the food. She was busy but was still so attentive and nice. My girlfriend and I plan to come back and see her. I love a good dive and this is one of my new favorites. laid back atmosphere and cheap strong drinks.“
“Tim's Kitchen was a fun find! I came here with some people while we were near UW Tacoma campus for lunch. It was a Wednesday around 1:30pm and were seated right away. The servers were nice, attentive, and thorough. Our food was served promptly and tasted great! There was music playing, plenty of seating, and affordable drink prices. I would return if I was in the area again for sure.“
“*Update * I still like this place. But, I shan't order the Taco Salad at lunch. For $17 it was VERY small, albeit very tasty. Everyone else loved their food btw.Rock the Dock is on Dock St. It's right over the water. The food was good and the staff is friendly. We'll be back.“

“Food, service, atmosphere all were good but..Red flag - checked my credit card statement and I was over charged vs what I signed for. I called and they said they would give me the money back if I came back in. The only reason I bring it up is two of the servers mentioned that their computer automatically charges extra on people's bills so this happens often it sounds like. So that's terrifying.Additionally, when I called the excuse for the upcharge bounced around a few times. One time being the computer does it sometimes, second the computers were down, third the bill was accidentally input wrong. Hopefully this was truly just an error and not intentional. But who knows. Especially if they say their computer does this sometimes.“
“This place was excellent. The food was really good and you got a lot with your order. The service was really good, we had a larger group and the waitress got all of the orders right and even was able to remember where most of them went.It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it!“
