I know!

So, I had a craving for fried spring rolls since I haven't had my Thai cuisine fixs in over a year.  I pulled Chili Thai's menu up via their online website and it noted that spring rolls for $4.99.  Since I was at the postal office, which is close by, I decided to drive there and put in an order for spring rolls.  The server informed me that the spring rolls would be $9.95; however, the only system shows $4.99 and the desktop menu shows $8.95.  The server specifically asked if I wanted the fry or the fresh spring rolls, and I told her the fried ones, which I received; however, I was charged $9.95.  The server informed me that the prices can change at any time despite what is being reflected on their website. I went ahead and purchased the order; however, the spring rolls were hard, stale and did not have enough vegetable stuffings.  I resent the bait and switch and/or pricing discrepancies that restaurants employed to overcompensate for the lack of customer attendance.

Went in for an early dinner. Was quickly greeted, seated, and given a nice glass of ice cold lemon water. Large menu with plenty of options. I ordered the Tom Yum soup, Fresh Rolls, and a side of Brown Rice. For the soup I ordered a spicy level three out of possible five. Even though I like spicy stuff, I would now go with a one or a two. The soup was quite delicious. Though it needed some salt. I ordered the seafood combination. The bowl had a couple of muscles, a couple of shrimp, some medium sized scallops, sliced up pieces of calamari, plenty of vegetables, and some crab with a "k".The fresh rolls with the accompanying peanut sauce were very nice. The chicken inside was not dry. The vegetables & lettuce were fresh and crisp. The brown rice was not what I expected. When I make brown rice at home, it is true brown rice. This appeared to be white sticky rice that had beans of some sort added to color the white rice. Not a good option if you have diabetes. I'll know better next time. What didn't I like? The tomatoes in the soup. Crab with a K is a cheap option that I don't think should be even considered seafood. I'd rather have it omitted if real crab is not available. I already mentioned the issues with the brown rice.Do I recommend this restaurant? Yes. I've eaten take-out from here before and always had a good experience. This was my first dine-in experience.Service was attentive, quick, friendly, and the food portions were large. Atmosphere is ok; an open format that could get quite loud with a lot of customers.Next time I will not order the brown rice. But the Tom Yum soup is definitely worth a return trip.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options. Easy to choose low carb options.Parking: Plenty of parking. Front and back.

This was listed as a "highly rated" restaurant on Uber eats. Unfortunately, I can no longer be sure that fully functioning humans are responsible for Uber eats reviews. I've had my fair share of less than exhilarating Thai, but this place has clinched the crown of pathetic Pad Thai. First off, they royally forked up our order. I don't know on what planet two star spice translates to five, but clearly math at Chili Thai doesn't work the same way as here on Earth. I initially assumed that chili Thai accurately represents the palate of Thailand - as advertised - which I now can't help but question considering my mother half Asses better spring rolls than these clowns. Wouldn't feed my dog this food

It was inedible. All of my last order. The panang curry and the rice. This used to be a favorite restaurant, but I suppose restaurants will give subtle hints when they're tired of doing business. Today, the hints were far from subtle. The sticky rice was a solid mushy lump wrapped in a plastic bag and foil. The curry was full of gritty spices and 5mm linear fibers that probably weren't meant to be eaten. So after eating 3-4 bites I stopped eating it. I remember when this restaurant used to (1) include rice with the curry and (2) package the rice in a cute little box. Now, it's time for me to bid them farewell.

I had asked a high school crush to go out to dinner with me and she accepted. She liked Thai, so we just decided on this place since it was in the area she was. We met up & it was amazing. I had the pineapple chicken, can't recall the name of her dish but both were delicious. Great price, great food, I would definitely eat there againWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of blue spots to park, no hills or ramps to struggle on, no curbs , very accessible

This place is a hidden gem!!!! Doesn't look like anything fancy from the outside but im so glad I found good food next to my house!! One of My favorite spots in the area so far. We've been back about four times the past month. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. Very friendly staff. Clean. Fresh. There are little touches that make it a great atmosphere where you can tell they care about their business. We noticed Lots of to-go orders in the evening so people know this place is yummy! is becoming a regular spot for us. Tried some other Thai in Tacoma but it doesn't compare.
