First time there, enjoying the happy hour offerings. Just two of us got a table pretty fast, and the food is some of the best I've had going out in Vancouver after being out somewhere every weekend for the past six months! The corn fritters and honey butter dip were a particularly indulgent treat, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming despite how busy it felt inside.

Weird happy hour policy if you have a reservation? The food is "good" for Vancouver standards, definitely not wow. But they do have fantastic servers. I came here with 4 friends from Portland and we booked a reservation because we were worried it was going to be busy in the evening. When we got there it was decently packed but towards happy hour, there was maybe another couple, two other folks at the bar, and us. We saw the happy hour menu and requested it only for the server to tell us that their manager doesn't allow for folks who have a reservation to stick around for happy hour. Like what? You don't want our money? You don't want us to be happy? You weren't even that busy! So we asked the server how it would be any different if we left and came back in? Would we get happy hour then? The server obviously couldn't change the policy since it's the manager who said we couldn't have happy hour. Anyways, cute place but weird management. Never coming back here again.

We both loved the lavender and berry lemonades, corn fritters, fried chicken sandwich and braised short rib! The staff were very friendly, and we would definitely return to try a cocktail in the future.
Just got home from a fantastic meal at Amaro's - the type you know you need to write about when you get home. First of all, our server, Tana, was an absolute gem and made our night feel very special. I am super grateful she was part of our evening.The food was spectacular. The fried chicken sandwich was SO good and SO interesting. Whatever the savory caramel sauce is on that sandwich needs to be bottled. It was like if you turned chicken and waffles into a sandwich, but better? I don't know. Just order it. You won't regret it. And the house was so kind to gift us some of their famous ricotta donuts at the end of the night for our first visit, which definitely will not be the last.11/10 highly recommend.

Tana was just like the food...awesome! Smooth and efficient mechanics keeping the table patron friendly and clean all with a cheerful and kind personality. Brussle spouts, wedge salad, and the steak salad are consistently tasty and well executed. We will be back.
