Very disappointed. Back in August went here a few times to get lunch for my film crew and it was great. Nice size salads and sandwiches. Apparently either a different staff or the economy shift has changed that. I ordered the TBA salad and I don't think there was a full slice of turkey or bacon on it. My husband's sandwich was almost all bread. I get things have changed a bit, but why cut the size of things.

I am not sure what happened to this place, but the sandwiches are tiny and bad quality. We also doordashed and they completely fouled up our order. Pass

I won't be coming back here after my kid found not one, but two hairs inside of their sandwich. Please wear hairnets because that's just nasty to bite into your food and get someone else's hair in your mouth.

These guys don't know what good customer service is. I walked in to the pick up line and I smiled at two of the workers when they briefly glanced in my direction. I waited for a few minutes for them to speak to me but never did. I would get a sideways glance every so often. After a while I asked about my order and they rowdy said not yet. You should acknowledge a customer when they walk in and politely let them know how much longer. I know I work in customer service.

I love BTH, have been going there for years and was SO excited to have one in downtown. I ordered a turkey bacon avocado today with a minor modification (extra mayo) only to receive, no mayo, the tiniest amount of avocado and one very thinly shaved piece of turkey... had I not been on my way to the east side I would have turned around. 14$ for a sandwich, the least it could be is decent. I'll be back, but I'll check the sando before I leave the building.

Big town hero? More like big town l***** I got turkey on my vegetarian sandwhich that took 15 minutes to make for a to go order, and now it is just lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise and bread for $14. That is ridiculous

I was shaking after getting my food from this place. I've been coming to big town hero for 15 years but lately the quality has gone way down hill. The preparation was horrific, everything was just slopped together, the bread was completely soaked and smashed flat and falling apart I had to rebuild them all and they were still gross, they gave us the wrong chips and drink.the sandwiches were made completely different from what the menu says, both the veggie sandwiches we ordered had zero cheese when they're supposed to have 3 types of cheese. Sadly 2 of the 3 sandwiches we ordered went to the trash. Total disaster.

Ordered lunch for the office today. Ordered it online and it was supposed to be ready at 12:17. Waited around until about 12:30. We ordered a turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich - no avocado. Two of the turkey bacon ranch panini's we ordered had no bacon and no ranch.... How do you order a sandwich and get half the sandwich you ordered? Not happy. Won't be back again. Wasn't even that busy either. Super disappointing when you want to support a downtown business and don't even get what you ordered.

The girl at the counter doesn’t seem to have all her faculties together, it was a bit awkward trying to order from her. I waited 20 minutes for my sandwich, no one had ordered before me, there was one eating in the dining area and that was all. I had to ask after 20 minutes if my order was ready, the girl was distracted talking to another customer and the cook stopped what he was doing to check finished orders and sure enough mine was there. During this time about 5 more patrons showed up and stood in line while the girl continued to blab. Food is fine but service could improve

I came here on 8-22-22 to grab a sandwich for lunch. I got the #1, which is a panini. It was flavorful and filling. And it was only $8.95!

Honestly, if you want a filling, quick lunch while in the downtown area, I would highly recommend Big Town Hero. They'll typically serve you within a couple of minutes and you can get some fresh sandwiches, soup, or even their pre-packaged macaroni salad. Their mac salad tastes a lot better than usual as they do not skimp on the sauce, lots of flavor inside. Sandwiches have good ingredients and are reasonably priced. Service is super nice and they'll do their best to help you out. The interior is fairly clean, better than most fast food establishments.

It tastes like a sub from a grocery store or made with grocery store ingredients. The bread is the best part, but even that is lackluster. It needs more body and some texture. The meats, cheeses, and other toppings taste as of they were just bought from Fred Meyer and are extremely average. The pickles are just straight up nasty. With options like Jersey Mike's available, there is no reason to go here.

BTH used to be quite popular and it has been awhile since I was in a BTH… what a let down… yes, the bread was very nice but the sandwich was pretty meager… skinny on the components… and (I consider customer service to be important) when I asked for a extra amount of an ingredient I was completely ignored… i was the only customer in the restaurant and I know why… Vancouver is now splendidly full of excellent Sub Shops like Jersey Mikes’s and there is no reason to go to BTH… save yourself and go to a quality sub shop that cares about it’s customers…

Placed an order on UberEats. Somehow my order got canceled after two drivers attempted to pick it up. I tried calling around ten times and no one picked up. Extremely unprofessional and won’t be ordering from this place again.
