The batistas were both really nice. I got their sasquach sandwich & spring special pistachio coffee which was really good. I definitely recommend eating the food warm if you can- I personally have to wait until my coffee is drank, otherwise I feel like my stomach tries to eat itself (even if I eat before any coffee) so I ended up eating my sandwich cold lol- I did try it warm which was amazing & would definitely recommend. I got a warm 24oz with the 2 espresso shots decaffeinated (just bc I'm caffeine sensitive but still wanna drink the coffees lol) & the sandwich for just under $19⁰⁰, but I think it'd be easy to do budget friendly orders here too if you just wanted a coffee lol.Edit; looking at their previous reviews it looks like this particular location needs a new ventilation system to fresh fry the eggs & offer hash-browns... I wonder if they have a goal jar (I'm thinking like a tip jar but specifically for funding a new vent) I could've contributed to or could in the future?Dietary restrictions: If being caffeine sensitive counts as a restriction;They were really nice & told me what exactly my options were for my pistachio spring special were, which was rather helpful.If you're hyper-allergenic-as in breathe a scent & feel nauseous or itchy throat &/orif ingested feel nauseous until you hit some benadryl or actually expell it from your body-to nuts, soy, corn, glucose, or oats (something I know about due to personal experiences) then I honestly wouldn't recommend eating here though bc cross contamination isn't something most businesses can afford to prevent & genuinely can't guarantee. Especially for this coffee shack, they'd have to wash everything throughly & really read the ingredients list, & there's absolutely no guarantee they'd recognize all the artificial corn-based ingredients (such as *any* dextrose or most syrups & others I don't remember off the top of my head).Sucks, I know but it's more important to be safe than eat out or accidentally poison yourself right?

SOOO happy to have found dev's!! Finally- a place that has a spicy mocha! The forest fire mocha is SO GOOD! The cayenne pepper is definitely noticeable and really makes your typical chocolate covered cherry mocha type of drink extra lit!! I love it! Thanks for being unique!

Devs is my absolute favorite coffee shop. I was on a mission to try every coffee place in vancouver, but instantly knew I didn't need to go anywhere else after I found Devs. Not only do I order my fave drink almost daily, we also use their beans at home. I normally LOVE this place. I always get a classic bagel sandwich and add a hash brown (which really makes the whole thing just so much better). I went there today and was told you no longer offer hash browns to put on your bagel sandwich, which is fine and I can live without the hash brown, but it was definitely sad. But when I received my sandwich, the egg is different now too. Instead of the delicious fried egg you used to get, it is now NOT that. I get so sad when some of my favorite food places change up their recipes/food items. Most likely won’t be going back anymore. The infused rockstar is good though and staff is friendly.
I love this place! I’m so bummed, though! Their breakfast sammies were AMAZING! Now, they don’t do hash browns, and the eggs don’t seem to be freshly cracked—almost like they are using liquid eggs now, or something. I was willing to wait longer for a better sandwich. Now, the sandwiches are still good, but that “something magical” is missing and it breaks my breakfast loving soul. Why the change, Dev’s?! ?

Extremely friendly staff, great selections, and satisfying breakfast sandwiches. This place is awesome and I’m looking forward to having these guys in my coffee rotation.

Amazing service and handcrafted exactly how you want it. I'm a barista so it's a big deal to make me a good coffee and these girls get it DONE. Loads of sugar free syrup options which is really important to me and anyone who's likes to pinch sugar calories. On top of that this place has an incredible aesthetic inside of an old church. Absolutely beautiful and bright, perfect for a date or just swinging by to treat yourself. Oh yeah and the breakfast doesn't disappoint, great sausage.

Delicious drinks- I Stopped by to get a breakfast bagel (10/18 around 11 am). I noticed a chunk of cream cheese on the employees long, black Halloween acrylic nail…Made me wonder if employees are required to wear disposable gloves when handling food?Definitely grossed me out and will only be ordering drinks from Devs… just be, aware of possible food safety/ handling.I only hope this was a accident and not something that’s allowed. :/
