Owner is not mature enough to own a restaurant. Throws a temper tantrum when given criticism about the plate of supposed food that was hurled out of the bathroom I mean the kitchen... There is no bathroom. Cook peed in a jug after coming in with the dishwasher lady who was obviously tweaking out. Not family friendly unless you want your children exposed to meth fumes to build their immunity if they decide to move to Portland

Excellent greasy spoon. The biscuits and gravy are delish. Pancakes are great. I like them with peanut butter. Next time I'm going for the omelet. The staff are super.

Been going here for like two decades now, since it was Omy's and I have to say that the new ownership is a bit disappointing. All of the cool stuff on the walls is gone and there's nothing to look at...except for when we were there during Christmas and the bright flashing lights almost gave me a seizure. The staff and service is still wonderful and I give five stars for that, but the food and prices have changed so drastically that it's not even worth it anymore.A "quarter order" of biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon used to fill an entire oval plate and that's all I ordered/needed because it was quite filling. The sausage gravy was delicious and made on the spot. Sometimes I could hear the kitchen asking what sausage they had avaliable. :)Now the biscuits and gravy consists of a tiny little biscuit like the size of a Popeye's one with a drizzle of "gravy" that is thin, nearly transparent (is theirs water based? it's supposed to be milk and flour...), and has tiny little bits of sausage in it. Honestly, it looked and tasted like it was pre-made and reheated. The coffee was also cheap and thin...watered down garbage, but I was told I couldn't bring my own coffee in (I had a mocha from a coffee cart across the street) and had to go put it in the car.My advice to new ownership:1) Don't trade good, solid home-cooked "like grandma made it" recipes for pre-made stuff or try to fancy it up. The recipes were fine.2) Pick a decor. A theme or style or color scheme, etc.... pick something and decorate. Cause right now the place is pretty empty and customers like being able to look up and around and be entertained instead of looking down at their phones.3) Prices. Just consider it. If we can brag about "huge portions for crazy cheap" then we can send people your way...at the moment I wouldn't refer anyone there.

Truck stop atmosphere in the middle of town. Friendly staff and great regulars. Great place to relax and enjoy breakfast!

Excellent service and food. I had the Hugga platter, which was delicious and cooked exactly as I requested. Pay no attention to the 1 star reviews because those are from when the place was owned by someone else, and it was a different restaurant. I would've given 5 stars, but the blinking holiday lights were very annoying.

The customer service here was amazing. Our waitress was extremely sweet and personable. The owner was kind as well.As far as breakfast is concerned it was one of the worst breakfasts I have had in all honesty.I got the hashbrown balls. I had seen them online and they looked like crispy balls on a plate of gravy. What I got was 3 mushy hashbrown piles covered in gravy... not at all what I was expecting. The gravy wasn't very good either. I'd suggest changing the name to hashbrown casserole. And Baking it longer to maybe atleast get a crisp on the top.My daughter's pancake was great. It had a unique flavor to it and was cooked well. She also enjoyed her hot chocolate. My husband didn't care for his platter either. And the toast was barely toasted. He also said the coffee was bad.Overall I don't think I'd consider giving this place another shot unless they make some changes. Maybe cook the food longer in general. I would rather wait and get crispy hashbrowns and toasted toast.

This is a cute little diner. Nice place to stop to grab a bite for breakfast. Or if dinning solo...linger at the counter while enjoying a cup of joe while you catch up on the morning news, or make friends with the waitress and cook. The lunch/sandwich menu looked affordable as well. Looking forward to try one of their homemade BLTs or grilled cheese sandwich.

Service was great. We got there as soon as they opened and they were friendly and welcoming. Food was good and we liked the smaller atmosphere.

I've been going here since 2006, back when it was Omy's. Now it's hug a mug. Excellent service and delicious food. I eat out once to two times a day. I'm picky about my food. It's always quality over price and quantity. Hug a mug has quality and quantity, the price is a buck or 2 more then some other places I frequent, but the service and food makes it worth it.Parking: Lots of parking

Delicious food, awesome service since the new owners took over. Little more pricey than most the places I frequent but the service and quality make up for it.

Im visiting family for holidays and I love a good diner breakfast and I sure found it. I was told there are new owners for this cute diner. I must say this spot has-- Good service, good food, and I enjoyed the warm and inviting feel it gives. I got the Classic Eggs Benedict with hash browns. It was delicious. I would definitely recommend this spot. YUM!.

I just love the whole place! Everything was right on point. Me and my boyfriend came to visit here from Georgia and we was looking for any breakfast places that were 3.5 rated and we found this little cute place. The food was amazing and our server Amanda was even better. I felt so welcome by her and the customers. Shout out to them, I will always come back here and visit! :)
