Really good Korean BBQ. I was a little apprehensive with it only having a 4.0 rating. But I'm glad we gave it a try. We had a fab dinner. The pork tenderloin is bland. We also had beef brisket, beef bulgogi and spicy pork bulgogi (which was our favorite. Next time we'll just get 2 beef bulgogi and 2 spicy pork bulgogi. Service could be a bit more attentive but we really enjoyed the meal. KingKong deserves a higher rating. We'll be back! The parking is shared by several companies. I like spicy soup. But two of the jige are both super spicy ? ? ?. I want a good soup. Good soup comes from good stock and ingredients, not extra chili powder ?️ or salt. If I want something more spicy I can always add more spicy sauce, but I can't take spicy out. The beef belly is also tough and chewy.

Come here every few months for friendly get together and the staff is always great! The meat is always well marinated. 10/10 would recommend.
The staff is always so slow at giving people their orders. If you ask for something they will take so long to give it to you even if it’s as simple as a cup of water in an empty restaurant. I usually come here but will stop coming here. If you want to try and good place I would try the other Korean bbq spot in hazel dell.

I've been to KINGKONG a couple of times. The food is excellent (avoid the coconut chicken and the "sausage"), but they tend to slow walk getting you food after the second round or so. One time, there were three of us, but they only brought out the amount of food for two people each time, then slow walked it, then cut us off when we hadn't gotten as much as we paid for. My friends were even buying drinks.The atmosphere is ok. The seats aren't that comfortable, and it is a bit noisy (which is going to happen with all the vent hoods, etc.), so it can be a bit overwhelming after a while.The last time, however, the evening was when they unethically put an automatic 18% "gratuity" (hint: it's not a gratuity when you take it from me without my consent, that's just theft) on the check without my permission. I would have actually left a larger tip than that (I prefer to tip with cash), but you're not getting another dime when you pick my pocket on the way out the door. Mugging your customers is a great way to keep them from coming back.
Great Korean BBQ restaurant! Have eaten here a handful of times, the food is well marinated and tasty. The service is amazing, the servers are attentive and polite every time I go. Not only is the KBBQ yummy, but also the entrees! You can do all-you-can-eat solo (by yourself), which not many places offer and are able to order non-meat options (steamed egg, corn cheese, etc.) on top of your order of meats each round. One of my favorite restaurants!

Some premium selection were better then others. Cuts were a little chewy but flavor was great, service was great. Overall a good time and enjoyed ourselves. I would say the pork belly was probably the best option and the chicken selections most the beef items by no means were bad they were chewy at all doneness levels. My experience with Korean has been a mixed bag. I've had a couple experiences which put me off the cuisine for years. The BBQ was tolerable, and other people like it, so OK.Gotta say, this place seems to have stepped up their game. For this first time, I genuinely enjoyed the food. Very tasty, great sauces and sides. The staff were attentive and friendly.Awesome.

Wide variety of meats and other menu options in case you don’t want to grill, and the service was friendly, overall it was a fun experience. Today I ordered just the tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) through doordash and it was the bomb, super spicy though !

this korean bbq offers a vast menu with amazing service! be sure to come with an empty stomach as you will get full with delicious banchan, meats, rice, and vegetables! it's a bit pricey, but definitely worth the money. the atmosphere is upbeat and you are surrounded by the sounds of kpop. overall, 5/5 stars!
Was a wonderful meal. Large portions and tender juicy bulgogi. My husband likes larger portions they did not disappoint. We also had the bim bop and bulgogi pan fried noodles. We had leftovers for the next day. The side dishes were generous. We definitely will be going back regularly. Was very delicious. Staff was freindly. Place is very clean!. I would definitely recommend this. Price were comparable to regur average resterants but a good bang for the buck.
