What a great little gem on uptown Main Street! I have yet to eat dinner there, but have dined in and taken out lunch, typically a sandwich, on many occasions. They have thoughtful twists on classics, like a house-made corned beef sandwich with horseradish sauce and hot, red peppers. The corned beef was excellent, thin sliced and they don’t skimp. They make their own potato chips too! Prices are very reasonable, service is always good and their deli, selection of ready made foods, salamis, cheeses and salads is excellent. Their wine selection is quite extensive and great for such a small shop. I have even been helped by the owner! Shops like these lend character and a true neighborhood charm. I noticed a Chipotle going in downtown across from New Seasons and I hate seeing chain restaurants and stores taking root. I suppose someone has to provide for all the new apartment dwellers taking over. In the mean time, support a quality local business, like La Botega!

My wife and I come here often. It's a perfect little spot tucked snuggly into our bustling uptown main street. Servers are fantastic and tentative. The simple menu is deceiving inIt's diverse flavors and the expansive wine menu means you're sure to find an excellent pairing. Perfect for your next date night but be sure to show up a bit early. No reservations but worth the wait!

This is my go-to place for lunch when friends are in town. The seating is a little bit cramped, especially when it's busy. But this does not detract much from the atmosphere, which is awesome, especially in the summer when they open the front wall. The deli sandwiches are incredible. Really fresh with great spreads. I have not tried the pasta, but others I've visited with loved it. If you're looking for an authentic Italian bistro, this is the spot. Best one in town.Parking: Parking is easy, just park off of main Street to avoid meters.

Solid Italian eatery in downtown Vancouver. Ample portions and friendly staff. They don't take reservations. The joint is popular so there's always a wait. What a meal! We had a group of 6, no reservation on a Tuesday and were seated in minutes. Wine and starters were phenomenal, such a selection! Dinner was amazing, everyone was very pleased with their meal. Our server was sweet and knowledgeable about not only our wine and food, but about the area as well. We will be coming back again, especially for the risotto!
The best Italian restaurant in Vancouver without question. The chef is creative, the ingredients are fresh and high quality. I am always proud to share this wonderful establishment!
