I’ve been here a handful of times, and now living in the area I’ve been excited to have the Bonita in the regular rotation for good fish tacos, margaritas, and a very peaceful patio.

We reserved the banquet room for 25-30 people two weeks in a row. and it was really great. Food was so good and came out fast service was amazing and friendly. And it was nice to let the kids run around in there while we ate and celebrated a birthdays.Kid-friendliness: Lots of highchairs . The kids' menus came with crayons ? . They had fun. And love the not spicy bean dip that came with chips and salsas . Our server was really great to remind us that plates were hot to keep kids safe. Brought the kids water with lids and straws .Wheelchair accessibility: All one floor and easy to get to the tables and in and out of the door.

I had the beef Colorado. It was quite good. Sauce was savory. Rice and beans were good as expected. Chips and salsa were excellent. The beef could have been cooked a little longer to make it more tender but I had lunch so maybe they didn't have time in the day yet.

First time there. Loved the chips and bean dip. The waiter was friendly and took our order quickly, and the food came out within 10 minutes. We order a combo with a tamale, taco, and enchiladas with chicken. I didn't care for the tamale kind of dry. Enchilada and taco were good. We'll try something else time. Overall, we liked

Please allow me to express how amazing this place was. The food was incredibly fresh, and the shrimp had a delightful taste reminiscent of the sea. As for the rice, it was simply ahh-mazing!

Fiesta Bonita is The BEST Mexican restaurant anywhere around our parts! And I’ve tried them all. :)This place has the most authentic recipes and quality food. Whether you dine in or out, the freshness, diversity of the menu, and quality are so good! The atmosphere is great if dining in, or the exact same quality of food gets to you with delivery. This will be one of the best meals you will have in a very long time. Enjoy!

Caught them red-handed overcharging me. On the nights I order a cocktail here, I usually get a shot of mezcal to balance it out. The tab always seemed a bit high, but I never scrutinized it, until last visit. That time, I verified the price of mezcal on the menu up front, pointing to the one I wanted, which was $11. When the tab came, I double checked and saw they had charged me for a totally different mezcal at a cost of $18 a shot. I asked our waiter about it and he told me that the price of mezcal had "gone up." He made it sound like $18 was the going rate and they just hadn't gotten around to updating their menus. I actually had to argue with him a bit. Finally, since the menu did say $11, he gave up and brought me the difference in cash. This wasn't a one-off. In the past there was plausible deniability because I always just said "bring me a shot of mezcal," assuming they'd do the right thing.I'm really upset by this, because they were our local go-to for family Mexican. But this wasn't an innocent mistake. I hate to give up a place in the relative food desert that is Vancouver, but geez. I gotta draw the line at being swindled.(Also, I want to meet whoever is doing $18 mezcal shots at Fiesta Bonita.)

Been here multiple times in the past and always thought it was a decent classic family Mexican restaurant. Wait staff is always friendly and welcoming. This most recent trip we had a group of six and not sure if it was due to the recent ice storm in the area or what but it was probably the worst Mexican food we have had in a long time. The salsa (good and appeared homemade in the past) resembled and tasted like tomato sauce. My husband and father in laws chimichangas had funky tastes to them and neither ate more than a few bites.Do not recommend the fajita salad. I should have read the description more carefully but it came with a hard boiled egg, mushrooms, and cubed chicken that tasted like it was cooked in soy sauce and sesame oil. Barely touched it.Disappointed in the quality and taste of food although the service was fine. Also - the hot water in the bathroom had one temperature, scalding hot that felt borderline dangerous to wash your hands with. Again, maybe this was due to the recent ice storm. We probably won’t be back for a while but hope that this was just a one off experience.
