Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian rolls and they will make the noodles dishes vegetarian if askedDietary restrictions: Plenty of vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: They enjoyed having our two young kids around and had no issues with them making a mess under the table or being slightly noisy at times.

Went for lunch with my wife yesterday, ordered our usual tempura , the tempura was really good but the sauce is the worst I ever had, just staled soya sauce mixed with water, how can you let that happened?

Paid a lot of money to go for sushi I asked for sauce and for utensils they said they charge for everything and this was for my company meeting trying to feed people first and last time I come with that kind of customer service and you charge for what sauce? And utensils? Are you kidding I spent almost 200 bucks that has to be a big joke! First and last time!

Not a lot of people know of this place but it is the best sushi I’ve ever had. The service is really great and all of the sushi is fresh and amazing. Highly recommend going there for a sushi night.

I rarely give any reviews but thought I should post my experience today. I went to pick up an order that was already placed online and paid for. When I arrived, I had to use the restroom and the lady at the counter was helping another guest. I used the restroom and then proceeded to pick up my order. After she handed me my order she leaned close to me and told me I should have asked before using their restroom because they have random people who aren’t customers coming in and using their restroom. I felt embarrassed seeing as how I had already received my paid for order and told her that had I not been picking up an order I would have notUsed the bathroom and she said” you still should have asked” personally I felt uncomfortable and thought it was uncalled for. I understand there are transients around Salmon Creek but I am a hard working person and pay all my own bills. I also work in customer service and would never embarrass someone like that. Shame on this lady. Again my opinion.

Worst Mio Sushi there is. Overly expensive. Uncomfortable seating. Slow service. Worst ramen in all of the Portland metro area. It did not come with any listed toppings. It would be better to get a foam cup of Top Ramen and warm sushi at a truck stop.

TL;DR: excellent protein to rice ratios. HH doesn't save you that much.Parking: shared lot next to Holiday Inn Express.Atmosphere: cafe-like setting with limited seating, not a very large dining area.Menu: has images and straightforward descriptions. You will be handed several menus: sushi, drink, specials, main, and Happy Hour menus (during HH only). The sushi menu is laminated and has tick mark boxes. Mark what you like on the large laminated sushi menu and write down any additional things you'd like that aren't listed on the bottom section.Service: wait to be seated, you will be watered, order at the table, check brought to you, you will pay while seated at the table via a portable register the server brings.Happy Hour prices are not too different than regular prices and you are required to purchase a beverage. Don't expect huge percentages off the meals--just a few dollars off. Limited selection of items on the HH menu.Miso Soup: typical miso soup with seaweed bits and tiny tofu cubes. Not overly salty. The sushi rolls here have a very even ratio of rice and protein. They are not like some places that go heavy on the rice. The sushi tastes really fresh and is cool in temperature as opposed to some places that serve you room temp sushi.Bubble Bubble Roll: my all time favorite sushi roll that I wish was offered everywhere! It has such a nice combination of flavors. That lemon slice is edible -- eat the whole thing! The lemon adds a nice tang to the salmon and the salmon roe add a nice burst of saltiness.Philadelphia Roll: typical Philly roll but there is a slightly more generous proportion of salmon in the roll compared to some other sushi joints.Veggie Tempura Roll: The veggies are nicely breaded with tempera and wrapped in the sushi roll. There is a light crunch to eat bite which I appreciate. However, the sauce that is drizzled on top is a bit sweet in my opinion and I would have appreciated a little less of it.

Do not order take out from this place. Their food is alright but they purposely charge you extra and skimp on the quality. I was charged extra for adding chicken to my order but chicken was not provided. The restaurant insisted that the online service had taken the money despite the price being exactly what yakisoba with chicken added costs.
