I had an incredibly disappointing experience at the DoubleTree in Vancouver, WA. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this hotel was far from satisfactory. The bar employee's confrontational behavior in front of young children was simply unacceptable, showing a complete lack of professionalism. Moreover, the management's inexperience in customer service was painfully evident. When I raised my concerns, the general manager's response was shocking – claiming that "nobody is above her." Such arrogance only added to the frustration. But the issues didn't stop there. Our room was far from comfortable. The sink was clogged upon arrival, and we were told to wait in the hall for an excruciating two hours for it to be fixed. Housekeeping rudely pounded on our door first thing in the morning, disrupting our rest. The state of the room was appalling; furniture was ripped, and everything was stained. It's disheartening to think that a DoubleTree property would allow guests to experience such a disappointing stay. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for accommodations in Vancouver, as this hotel falls far short of even the most basic expectations.

Recently reserved a room at this hotel and it is the worst place I have ever been in. I would not and did not stay here. The furniture looked worse than something sitting on the side of the road or from a dumpster. The room also smelled like mold, the bathroom was not clean and we checked out immediately. Now Julie Burton the manager says they posted on their site they were under renovation and so they will not give me a refund!!! I have respected and enjoyed seats at other Hilton properties but have never came across a dump like this. Hilton hotels you should be embarrassed and ashamed to have your name associated with this hotel. This site will not let me post the pictures of the room. Disgusting

We’ve stayed here twice over the past month before early morning flights out of PDX and it’s served that purpose quite well. I’ll admit I was nervous about staying here based on recent reviews but that turned out to be somewhat unwarranted. Yes. The sofa and ottoman in our rooms had definitely seen much better days. But outside of that, the rooms were clean and pleasant. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Water pressure in the bathroom was decent. Staff was very friendly and responsive both in person and via messaging in the Hilton app. Dinner menu in the restaurant is extremely limited and the service was slow. For our second visit we just used our Diamond F/B credit for a couple of drinks in the bar went across the parking lot to Applebees which worked out well for us. We would stay again next time we have an early flight. Hopefully the negatives will be fixed once they get the remodel done.

I do NOT recommend this location. There is not enough towels for the rooms. They offered hand towels for you to take a shower with. The furniture is trashed. THEN after all of that they expect you to pay $13 for a crappy motel breakfast (Elmer’s was a better option). This location does not meet even the standards for a rent by the hour facility.

This hotel makes no excuses for the poor condition of the furnishings claiming Hilton knows about it so it’s not their problem. I travel often and have never been treated like, “ too bad lady”. When I have tried calling Hilton I was disconnected each time I requested customer service I’ve made 3 requests for contact via email without a response. They must be in financial trouble however their return customer rating I’m certain will tank. $229 a night for a peeling ottoman and sofa which we could not use.

This past weekend we stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Vancouver WA, 12712 SE 2nd Circle. This room was a disgrace! Not even up to the Motel 6 standards! I cannot understand how Hilton would charge almost $200.00/night for a room that the furniture is totally ripped up, the coffee machine did not work, the WiFi didn't last more than 5 minutes and most disturbing was all the mold in the room/ceiling!!!!! They did update the TV stand and desk with Ikea furniture that was not sturdy! Please look at the photos attached! At the very least they should have a complimentary breakfast but they don't! They charge $14.08 for a breakfast and to be honest with you we didn't even go into the restaurant/ bar! If the rooms look this way what does the KITCHEN LOOK LIKE?? The staff was amazing, they did state that every room is in the same disrepair and they receive complaints EVERY DAY!!!! We were told that since Hilton purchased the property they have been told that they are not allowed to replace/update the rooms/furniture without Hilton's approval. This a so wrong! It is Hilton's responsibility to preserve their reputation and update the property they have purchased! Hilton's website is even subpar for customer service and comments... They didn't even have the state of Washington as an option the Hotel/State, the options stop at "V"! So we were not even able to leave a comment on their website. Please do not stay at this hotel, it is not even up to the "motel" standards. We have guest often stay with us and believe me this property will not ever be an option! Rooms1.0Service2.0Location4.0

Enough said. I must have a minimum of 200 characters so, spent over $200 with taxes for one night. Reserved it late the night before arrival with the caveat that it was walkable to the surgicenter and early check in. Arrived at 11 AM to find that no rooms were cleaned yet supposedly because "we have been booked up for so long in advance", and an early check in fee of $25 will be assessed. These are the furnishings. Wow. Not a Hilton property or approach that I have ever experienced.

This is the worst Hilton property I have ever stayed at. Cannot believe this is a doubletree. false advertising!!!!!! The room doesn't have a complete bathroom, the sink is in the hallway like an old cheap fairfield inn. The coach in the room was falling apart. The bar closed early, unannounced last night. This is an old, cheap property someone branded as a Doubletree. The best part was seeing another guest last night carrying a bucket and plunger. His kid clogged the toilet and the front desk gave him the bucket!! stay away.

Not the Hilton property experience I have come to expect. Hotel is run down. The shuttle service advertised has very limited hours. Rooms are certainly not Double Tree rooms.., small and clean, but run down. Hotel needs an update. staff was polite and tried to be helpful but I was disappointed from the moment I walked into the lobby. I won’t stay here again.

I called the day before to make sure that everything was OK with my reservation and also to add another night. Because I made the reservation through a 3rd party they could not modify my reservation, which I understood. I then asked about the policy about pets, the lady informed of $50.00 non refundable security pet deposit, and I asked per night or just a $50.00 fee, to what she replied it's just a $50.00 fee. That was reasonable, so I decided go ahead and call my 3rd party and added the extra night. When I got to hotel to do my check in, I am now informed that the $50.00 pet deposit is per night, and that there is also a $30.00 deposit per day as well, needless to say how upset I am at this point. I have never being charged a deposit for me to stay at a hotel, I understand the pets security deposit but your prices are expensive for what you have to offer. I finally check in, to the most disgusting room. The bathroom was infected with mold and all the couches were broken. I simply can not believe that a hotel that cost almost $200. the night and no breakfast included can have broken furniture, and black mold. When I talked to the person in charged she told me that all the furniture in every bedroom is broken. If this is true, then you are over charging your customers. When I complained to the manager about the black mold, she seemed to know that the bathrooms had black mold, she then informed me that she can give me a new bedroom but I would have to pay the pet deposit and also my deposit, she then says that this is standard in every hotel, which it is not. I've stayed in many hotels and I have never experiences any bedroom as disgusting as this one. Needless to say I will never be doing business with Hilton ever again. You all should be ashamed to allow people to stay in rooms with black mold. I would love to get my money back as this is a health violation, black mold is not something to take lightly. Who can I talk to get my money back.

Wouldn’t recommend…. Not very clean. Quite beat up …. Grungy…. Not kept up in any form. It seems like they remodeled from a different hotel possibly… feels more like a motel 6. Definitely not what you would expect from any Hilton brand anything. I don’t really want to take my shoes off anywhere in our room… and I’m not really very high maintenance. The staff are friendly, although they seem quite un knowledgeable…. And the maintenance man was a bit grumpy when he had to bring us blankets. For the bed. Kinda need those. I would not stay here again. Stains everywhere, including sheets. Random hairs that don’t belong to us, mostly outlets don’t work in the room…. Kinda nasty.

The room was disgusting. The furniture had rips and tears. The shower pan is stained and doesnt appear clean. Very old and dated. There was still trash left in room by air conditioner. Old water left in ice bucket. Not what you would expect from a Hilton owned company. I will never stay here again. And the breakfast was 12.95 per person….NOT worth it. If you charge for breakfast it should be better quality than hotels with free breakfast. Do not waste your money. Extremely disappointed!

I had a very good stay at this hotel. I checked-in fairly late in the evening, but the check-in process was seamless. My room was very clean and comfortable. I used the pool and hot tub amenities, both were clean and set at the perfect temperature. The hotel needs some minor updates, but overall a good stay.
