Everything that came with a sauce was drowning in it; the salad had enough house dressing to make it resemble a shallow soup; the fried rice, meats, and the stir fry vegetables were all doused in a heaping serving of teriyaki sauce. While the filet mignon cut of beef was, by far, more tender than a similar cut of meat I had a Michelin star restaurant, it was drowning sauce. Otherwise, the service was prompt and good. We had a table to ourselves since we were there early for dinner. Was there to celebrate some birthdays. Fair price and large portion sizes for everyone's entrees.

We ordered a to-go order which no one expects the food quality to be the same as sitting inside. But upon eating our meals the food was not good at all, we made the order last night my pick up time was at 7:45 they close at 8pm so before I attempted to call them i seen that they close at 8pm on google so i waited till about 5:25 the next day (they open at 5pm) Whoever my wife spoke to did not offer a refund but only a 15 percent discount as long as we come inside upon eating inside. She told my wife no refund because we did not come the same night to bring the food back , even tho they closed at 8 she said that we still could have came back because they were still inside cleaning . My problem is we have literally all the food in every plate and we're willing to take the food back to then so we can experience the quality of the food. But due to us calling the next day instead she won't honor it . To spend $60 bucks and only get a offer for %15 is outrageous. And very disappointing. We declined the offer .

Went there with the wife, son and his fiance to celebrate. We were not disappointed. The tepanyaki food and experience is comparable to what you will experience of you go to Benihana's at about 1/3 less. From what I recall, the menu is also more limited here although it has the basics, chicken, beef, seafood and tofu. It's also a lot more convenient for us in Vancouver vs going to Beaverton. There was a pretty hefty wait to get started with the food prep at the table, and we got there before 5:15 on a Saturday, so get there early. The ambiance has a lot of room for improvement. It's dark and dingy inside. They were pretty jammed, our cook prepared the meals for the 7 people at the table along with 5 to-go containers. Some of the noodles and rice were probably a bit more crunchy than they would have been if she wasn't cooking that much food at once. It was all tasty, we had the noodles and fried rice combo for our side with some grilled veggies. The wife and I shared the sesame chicken with steak combo. The boy had 5 spice chicken and his fiance had teriyaki chicken. We were all satisfied and there was enough leftovers for me to have another small meal the next day. It reheated very well. There was only one other person to get drinks, bring out the soup and salads. They were both tasty, it was unfortunate that the empty plates weren't removed until after we left, a bit of a crowded table. I'll do it again. If I want the full experience without compromise, I'll go to the other place in Beaverton.

It's a favorite for my wife and I. We go once a year, not often, we don't eat out often. We go for our company Christmas party. Everything is great. The only smidgen of a complaint would be the following. My wife asked for half fried rice, half noodles with her choice of Seafood proteins. All noodles for both of us. She is not the one to mention it, even though I know they would of gladly fixed it.

The food is pretty good and there's lots of it. If you consider that a plus. Then Sakura is for you. The food is really good. I had the filet. It was perfectly cooked. The fried rice had a nice sear to it.

This is by far the worst Japanese food my family ever had. The lady cook either she was tired after 7pm or don't care at all. She brought eggs inside the rice before cooking, then Crack the eggs, and a big chunk of shells fell in the rice and in my drink. She never apologized. She used tons of butter. I mean, butter on everything she cooked no good seasonings, very bland and greasy food. My family and I were having stomach problem for two days diarrhea. We love Japanese style food but not this one. We spent close to 200 dollars but not worth it at all. It was Sunday night, October 29th, 2023

My wife and I had a fabulous lunch here and had plenty of left overs afterwards. The chef did a fabulous job and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be coming here again and strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Japanese Steakhouse.
