The syrup was incredibly watered down. When I asked for more the server mentioned that people always ask for more. She brought me 3 and I still didn't finish my food. It was like pouring water on my French toast.

Definitely in the top ten of places with the worst staff and service. Long waits to be seated although plenty of tables available. Staff ignored the waiting list. Waitress are not attentive. Manager was visually and verbally upset and frustrated with staff. First and last time eating here. Too bad because the food was actually pretty good.

Thank you for the friendly service and delicious food! Great spot for a family brunch or just to catch up with an old friend for some tasty grub. And their mugs are so adorable, I just had to get one.

Best food we had in a longtime. Can't wait to come back and try more menu items. We had the sweetest waitress too. Chantel, you're a doll.

I have visited this place with my family many times for breakfast. Today my hash brown tasted like hot sauce, which was supper spicy. We let the manager Joe know and he became very defensive telling me it was his personal spice mix. This was way off base. He could of just offered to exchange my hash browns with no spice, but he didn’t. If you are going to add a special spice mix, please let me know so I can make the choice. Because of this, I will no longer take my business to Sunny’s, when we have many other great choices in the area to have breakfast.

Just went yesterday.. Hubby and I split things so we did a country fried steak. Real cube steak I appreciate but server failed to tell me that it would be x2. 75.. So 1 meal was $19! Pancake was undercooked in middle. Hubby grossed out on margarine. I should of said something but this was our 2nd attempt to try again from years ago failing... I won't be back. Servers need to be on the up and up... I could of split it myself and save 2.75.

Do not expect to get your toast with your order or maybe not at all. Request 10% discount if your do not get it.

The food is great with generous portions. I had the reuben sandwich and you could tell they make their own bread. The meat was tender and the sauerkraut was good. The fries had a nice seasoning that wasn't too overpowering. Definitely somewhere I will go

Unbelievably large portions. The bread is homemade as is everything. The chicken fried steak was a cube steak battered and deep fried.. it was served with homemade hashbrowns. I am yet to have a huge cinnamon row ... or a homemade sour dough. They were sold out along with the bread when we were

Only reason this place is in business is because of suburban boomers. Ambiance of a sickward and food to match a hospital.

The food is good if you even get seated, and if they actually have the stuff you want. First time we went they had 86’d nearly every other thing we ordered - including orange juice. Second time we went we were met with such poor service before we were even seated (and never got seated) that we left along with another group who as well realized they just weren’t gonna seat anyone for some reason. It wasn’t busy and every attempt to receive baseline service was neglected.

Maybe a total of 7 tables seated, when we walked in one of the servers said they would be right with us, continued to float around the place without taking further notice of us. Another server came to ring people out at the front and didn't speak to us. Other people arrived and put there name on the sheet, a total of 4 servers in the building serving 7 families and no one spoke to us again until us and another couple waiting left to go somewhere else.I've been here before and the food was good. But obviously the service is severely lacking.

The food was okay. I had scrambled eggs, hash browns, and sourdough bread. I also had coffee to drink. The coffee was weak, my scrambled eggs were very small, and the hash browns covered my plate. I feel that if they decided to work on presentation, and not mass quantities of potato products to fill a plate it would improve their business. But in closing it was okay for breakfast, but in Vancouver I would definitely recommend a different spot.

After over an hour after ordering and watching others that sat after us enjoy their meals and leave, we decided to walk out. The server did not check in with us or update us on anything. We were completely ignored at the table waiting for food. We will not be going back there.
