Delicious and very authentic! It's hard to find Thai food that tastes like what you get in Thailand, but this place does! And when you ask to turn up the heat, it is definitely spicy which I love!! Excited to try other items on the menu.

Wansook Thai Food is a relatively new food truck that primarily serves the customers drinking and hanging out at the Doomsday Brewing Safe House on Main Street in downtown Vancouver, WA; however, I saw people from the neighborhood just come pick up their orders to go. Either way, an order of Pad Kee Mao ($9) was fast ... and hit the spot while downing some IPAs from the tap house. The mix of Wide Rice Noodles, Chicken (no options?), Egg, Broccoli, Onion, Green Beans, Red Bell Pepper, Carrot, Cabbage, and Thai Basil was as flavorful and filling as you'd expect with that many ingredients. Even more fantastic was the friendly service at the counter. Smiles and patience were appreciated and worthy of a tip even before the box of noodles was delivered to the outdoor picnic tables where I was drinking. Fast, filling, and friendly make me a fan of WanSook Thai Food. I'm looking forward to trying the Garlic Pepper Chicken and Rice, Massamum Curry with Coconut Cream and Chicken, or Thai Fried Rice next time at Doomsday's Safe House or in the area.

For years I’ve been to all the Thai places in the Portland/Vancouver area to find any food that compares to hers and none did. She’s back in Vancouver and now I won’t be able to go to any other Thai place! Wanna, we’re so lucky to have you back in the Couve!!! We needed an excellent Thai place here!
