Pretty good teriyaki place in comparison with the competitions in the area: portions are respectable and the service is fast. The people behind the counter are always very friendly and nice. Not much more to ask for from a teriyaki takeout joint.

Love this place! Can never get enough when I'm back in home town. The spicy chicken teriyaki is my favorite and the portions are really good sized. I live out of state now and I dream of this place almost every week since there's no good teriyaki near me

The amount of people complaining on here about chicken teriyaki being dark meat is blowing my mind - who doesn't know that chicken teriyaki is always made with thigh meat? They offer chicken breast teriyaki too so why didn't you order that if you "hate dark meat"? Chicken teriyaki by default is thigh meat! Anyways on to my actual review, we ordered on DoorDash and it was so good! We got the katsu and beef teriyaki combo, and the chicken teriyaki and gyoza combo! Both were delicious! Katsu had a nice crunch which is hard to do in a takeout box! Definitely recommend!
The cashier is mean and very rude I feel he is racist, does treat people on their skin color. Did a take out order didn’t allow me to use the restaurant restroom said it’s clogged while his staff member just used it. I just wish his attitude changes not just because I was an Indian he can treat me like this felt very bad.I am not able to reply to the comment you posted but anyways to give clarification your employe came out just like normal person and rushed immediately into kitchen to cook with no gloves or equipment anyways I don’t want to argue it’s the behavior which gives it all I leave it to the public.

Often gets my order wrong despite being clear what I DON'T want. Rice undercooked. Salad is a chunk of iceberg lettuce in a Styrofoam box?? Free drink with meal. Inconsistent ingedient quantity from day to day. Closes rather early. Is okay, but many other choices in town.

Not great. Wouldn't come back, too many other similar restaurants that can offer better quality. Dark meat is a hard no for me. Wish they would specify if what you're ordering is going to be only dark meat

If I could give it 10 stars, I would! This is my 'Go Too" place for great Teriyaki. The food is tasty, with generous portions at a good price. But what you notice right away is the great friendly customer service. A refreshing change to some places I have tried. I live in Kirkland, and make the drive to Woodinville to patronize this restaurant. I am working my way through the menu (skipping the Tofu).... and I haven't found an item I haven't enjoyed.

Matsu Teriyaki as an extensive menu, wonderful food and excellent service. I just did a takeout order, and it was ready in 12 minutes.
Great portion sizes and very good. Definitely recommend the yakisoba
