Skippers is a dying franchise. Its so sad.It used to be hand filet and battered cod. I know. I worked there in the late 90's. Was so much better. Now it's mass frozen and shaped like a large fish stick. And it's Pollack instead of cod. It tastes ok. Just absolutely not the same. The clam strips, and shrimp still taste the same. It's a gas station with 3 restaurants in it. The serving size is crazy small. Skippers platter came with a tiny container of coke slaw that is usually used to out tarter sauce in it. 5 tiny shrimp, one small fish stick, lots of mediocre fries. Don't expect a nice place to sit and eat.

First time going here and we really liked it! The place is clean and neat, it looks like the tables and chairs are new. The atmosphere was really chill. We ordered the halibut and fish/shrimp combos. Food was hot and good! It’s fried, but wasn’t overly oily or anything. It was awesome. The hush puppies were also really yummy. Employees are friendly and nice and attentive. Will be coming back!
