New to the area and older social media posts said Smitty's had the best breakfast burritos but recent reviews have been mixed. Figured I would give them a try and give an updated review. Walked in on a Saturday morning at 0730 to an empty station. Gave the lady behind the counter my order and she said due to numerous phone in orders, the wait would be about 25-30 minutes. Luckily, there were two bacon breakfast burritos in the warming box that she said were made within the hour and were available for purchase. Since I didn't want to wait that long, I purchased the two. My wife and I thought the breakfast burritos were fantastic. Very large with healthy servings of fried egg, hashbrowns, and bacon. Due to it being pre-made, i'm not sure if there were more options had I custom ordered it but we loved them. There was only one lady that appeared to be working behind the counter and she had alot of phone orders pending. She recommended calling in first which I will definitely do next time. Very pleased with our breakfast burritos and can't wait to try again.

Gas station, but quality basic staples. Need a quick plate off the griddle… no frills and fuss, hits the spot. But yeah you’re eating in a gas station shop.

The food is OK except for it's cold. Our order was not made right she forgot to make a hamburger after we told her multiple times. They were out of him and we were not asked if we wanted something else or just substitute extra bacon. We did not get the amount of fries We ordered and we were overcharged. Everything was a mess the poor lady had to step over stuff just going to the kitchen to cook the food and I had to step over stuff to get to the bathroom which was not clean and was Out of Toilet paper. We will not be returning. It used to be a great place to grab a Burger but not like it used to be. Unfortunately we are not satisfied customers.Wheelchair accessibility: Too many things are on the floor so a wheelchair would not be accessible in here

The 4 Stars you first see above were earned by the previous owner and staff before 6-8 months ago. Now less than 1 star is accurate.Smittys cafe USED to be my favorite place for grab n go breakfast burritos and also had one of the best burgers in town.. Winter of 2022 the place changed hands and not good anymore. Destroyed everything that was good about it.Burrito price jacked up from $5.65 to almost $10 now. Don't know if they are any good because that is way too much to pay and i won't buy.Cute hole in the wall Cafe area now gone and an unwelcoming place to eat.I've stopped in about 4 times to give new owners a chance, checkout the hot case and hoping things would round out....walked out with nothing each time. Not going to try anymore.Old Smittys and crew, oh how I miss you! ?Yakima lost a great treasure.

My breakfast burrito was cold, hashbrown was still raw. The cheese was not melted. The tortilla was not cooked all the way. Its nothing like before, they are half the size but 2 times the price. I dont recommend ??
I have been coming here for over 20 years and was never ever disappointed until yesterday! Ordered 3 Paul's, 1 small Paul and a cord of curly fries and a cord of onion rings. The new owners changed to 1 patty on the Paul's they are a little thicker but tastes gross. My small Paul looked like a McDonald's happy meal burger and he charged us 8.99 for it! Not even the rectangle burger. Not even the same!!!

They unplug there phone so you won't order there and when I went in to order some food they made me wait just to tell me to get food out of the deli no the same place it was never going there again..

the old Employees Quit and we remodeled the Store and the Smitty is come back in a week it’s because of the health department do not leave a bad review it’s a whole bunch of stuff

Premade food!!!Food cold!!!Very disappointed!!!This use to be the best place for breakfast.We got up this morning and craving a breakfast burrito and drove up to Yakima to get one from one of our favorite places to eat.Husband ordered as we were traveling so it would be ready when we got there.Usually when we arrive the parking lot is full of vehicles. Only two vehicles were there when we arrived. I was confused, usually a full parking lot.Husband purchased takeout order and informed me to that it has new owners.Very disappointed to have a cold burrito that was half of the size of what we usually got and price increase.What use to be chucks of quality meat, eggs and potatoes that were too steaming hot to eat has changed to:very tiny chopped up meat, eggs and ??. Could not tell if there was potatoes included.The contents were cold to the touch and meat, egg were chopped up into very tiny pieces that it fell out of the burrito as you took a bite. Never had this problem with prior orders, made after you placed your order, until new owners.I feel that this burrito filling was premade and was already setting made up for sale.That they threw our premade burrito into a white paper sack.This was not a freshly made burrito. If it was it would have been too hot to hold.We will never be stop here again.Again:Very disappointed!!!COLD FOOD unacceptable!!!
