Small joint with simple yet fancy feeling plates. The food was delicious! Got a couple rolls and sashimi which were great, but somehow the spicy edamame might of been my fave! So good. I need to know what they put on them! Also, they have a robot that serves…STRANGE haha but entertaining to see. Prob saves the servers from having to carry giant trays or make multiple trips to the kitchen. It even sang happy birthday to a guest haha Check this place out.Parking: I ended up parking behind the restaurant in the bank parking lot cause it was after hours, but there was parking in front on the street

one girl is rude and literally forgot abt us.other than her all other workers are super kind and attentive. the food is bomb i loveee it.the philly roll, fried rice and spicy ahi tuna appetizer is yummy ! its cute and cozy there too. love the cat waitress robot lolParking: a bit hard to park as it is on a busy road. unless u can parallel park on busy road easily.
Terrible service me and my cousin went on Valentine’s Day at the beginning of our service. Everything was great. It was towards the middle in the end where everything took a turn. Once we got our food we weren’t checked up on by our server when we needed stuff. We didn’t get refills on our waters, all the tables around us were being checked up on and getting service, but when it came to us, we were ignored and simply our server would walk past us. The server would see that we needed help yet, proceeded to ignore us when we finally got their attention for the bill and boxes as we were putting the food in the boxes we were getting the plates already taken away from us while they were food on them. Overall terrible experience. experience

Have been to sumo hibachi many many times now. I have had lunch and dinner there. I have never had a negative experience. The food is consistently perfect and delicious. Sake bombs are awesome.The staff is consistently friendly and competent. I always exit The Establishment, fat and happy!Parking: I usually get lucky and get the park right in front on Yakima Ave. But if there is no street parking available there is plenty of parking in the back.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kid-friendly dishes and drinks.
The waitress was so nice, and the ambiance of the restaurant is modern, clean and super aesthetic. The food was super underwhelming, especially for the price.. we paid 9$ for the tempura veggie appetizer and we got like 6 vegetables. The chicken was poor quality, the sushi was pretty good, but way too pricey for the quality in my opinion

Came from California where the sushi was bountiful. Moving to yakima it has been really tough finding a go to sushi joint. This is it ! Definitely worth a try. Their happy hour is amazing ! Get the yellowtail with jalapeño. You won't regret it

The food here is phenomenal!! I've tried some different items off of the menu, they were all amazing. Their desserts were the best. The music is soothing.The seating hostess was a little rude, she snapped her eyes and was not at all friendly. Other than that, I would recommend this place, it was a fun experience.
