A quick stop, but definitely worth is. One of the best hot dogs (in my case, currywurst), I've ever had, and very friendly staff. Definitely worth a stop or five....

We saw the sign for veggie dogs one night and decided to stop in for lunch one day. What a great lunch spot!!! It was the perfect amount of food. No longer hungry but not over stuffed. Great prices (about $10 per person) and if you’re vegetarian or vegan, they have plenty of options for you as well! Delicious and really hit the spot! Everyone was super friendly. ?

Nothing else like this in town! Taking a classic item like a hot dog and making it oh so good. The customer service has always been amazing and food worth every penny. Delivery, dine in, or take out I have yet to have a bad meal from winey dog!Parking: Not the best parking but not horrible either.

Planned to try out Miz Dee's but they were closed indefinitely. Saw Winey Dog next door and figured why not, I was hungry. First time here a week ago, I loved it and told myself if I'm ever back in Yakima, I'm definitely coming back here. Fast forward a week later, I was sent back to Yakima (from Spokane Valley) at a last minute notice and knew exactly where I was going to for lunch! Their Seattle dogs are amazing, and the new Mac and cheese is AWESOME! Definitely a hidden gem, a most welcomed one at that too! Ambience is awesome and the operator/owners remembered me (even though it's only been a week). 5/5 stars for service and food!

The Kilted Perspective

Having recently dined at Winey Dogs in Yakima, WA, I must say that it was an overall fantastic experience. From the prompt service to the delightful outdoor seating, this place has easily become one of our go-to spots. However, there was one minor hiccup regarding the sweet tea that I feel compelled to mention.Let's start with the highlights. The food at Winey Dogs is simply outstanding. The service was impressively fast, ensuring that our orders arrived promptly at the table. The kitchen staff's efficiency didn't compromise the quality of the food; each bite was a burst of flavor that left us wanting more. Whether you're a fan of classic hot dogs or in the mood for one of their gourmet creations, Winey Dogs has something to satisfy every palate. The covered outdoor seating area added a charming touch to the dining experience. Despite the restaurant's compact size, they have maximized the use of their outdoor space, creating a cozy and enjoyable atmosphere. It was truly delightful to savor our meals in the fresh air, making our visit even more memorable. Now, onto the minor conundrum we encountered: the quality of the sweet tea. Unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations. As individuals raised in the South, we may have been spoiled by the exceptional sweet tea we grew up with. While Winey Dogs' version wasn't terrible, we felt that the quality fell short of what we had hoped for. However, taste preferences can be subjective, and other patrons might find it perfectly acceptable.Despite this small tea-related disappointment, we wholeheartedly recommend Winey Dogs for its outstanding food, prompt service, and charming outdoor seating. If you're in search of a casual and delicious dining experience in Yakima, this is definitely the place to be. Just be aware that the quality of the sweet tea might not match the standards of those accustomed to the excellence of Southern-style sweet tea. Nevertheless, we eagerly anticipate our next visit to Winey Dogs to indulge in their mouthwatering menu once more.
