“I live 5 hours away and my In-Laws and hobbies take me nearby. Jack's is my go to place when I am in town. It's a welcoming environment, family friendly, and great atmosphere to hang out and watch a game or chat with your group. If you are lucky, Justin the owner will be there and he will have time to meet and chat with you. They have lots of specials and there is something there for everyone to eat and drink. The physical location has changed hands and names a lot in the 20+ years I have been at the location, but this is my favorite set up without a doubt since Justin took it over. Try it out.“
“Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff with lots of room. The food was delicious, some of the best I have eaten out in a long time, and there was a large case of delicious looking pies on display. The portions were generously sized with lots of side items. I would definitely recommend eating here as everyone was friendly and happy, it was clean and the waitress was extremely helpful and understanding of my food allergies. I was able to order vegetarian, dairy free, and gluten free. No one even blinked at my service dog which was very respectful and appreciated.Vegetarian options: I was able to order a veggie omelet without cheese or milk, making it not only vegetarian but also dairy free.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp from the parking lot with lots of space between the tables in the dining area.Dietary restrictions: The waitress was very understanding of my allergies and having food prepared without being contaminated. “Two friends and myself from Wausau stopped in there to eat cause are other bar was closed. Nice clean place friendly bar tender and cook I had a meat lovers skillet and one of my buddies had a party melt I forget what my other buddy had but totally awesome food and reasonable priced...great job“
“Stopped for lunch on a road trip through Wisconsin. They serve breakfast all day and I am always a sucker for biscuits and gravy! It was very good and piping hot. You can get a half order or a full order for $1 more. Very reasonable prices, low as a matter of fact! It was very busy so service was a bit slow but our waitress was very friendly. They also have a senior menu but I didn't order off that. My traveling companion did but I neglected to get a picture. The cafe was convenient to get to from the highway.“
