“Many will know why I give this place 5 stars!! Many won't understand why I gave this place 5 stars....With that being said...You will have to decide....The reason I give it 5 stars is bc I live in this town....but never went to the bars here to drink. I no longer drink but I take my friends to this bar bc to me it's friendly. Salt of the earth people in this town...me included..LOL. It might not seem like they are friendly bc its a small town and you kbow the rest. Drinking a social lubricant...foes just that....people open up when they drink..so just strike up a conversation with anyone....you will be pleasantly surprised!! In the summer all of Albany is buzzing and teaming with tubers and travelers!! This is the most chill bar in town...as far as a know. Bc the people who work there are cool af!! But hey..my opinion only...it might not be your jam...there are 3 other bars to go to!! Lol or back to your campsite.....wink wink...Enjoy it for its small town charm!! And you will be charmed by the locals!! I guarantee it!! If bot come find me and we can talk about it....but watchout...Im a charmer!!!😘💖💖💖💖💖”
“If you are in Albany WI you must stop by Bobanna's! This was the perfect ending to our tubing day! After floating on the river all day my friend and I were ready to eat! We walked into this restaurant and had a seat. Katrina was friendly and attentive. I ordered a pizza with pepperoni, pineapple and jalapeños. It was delicious! And my friend liked her meal too. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area!”
“Friendly & pleasant atmosphere. The coffee is excellent. In addition, I recommend the lunch wraps & desserts. The food was fairly priced, fresh & delicious! I highly recommend stopping for a decadent treat:)”
“Nestled in the heart of Evansville, Lovegood’s Coffee is more than just a morning stop; it’s a haven of warmth, both in atmosphere and in service. As a regular patron, I can attest to the charm of this cozy coffee shop and the genuine care poured into every cup.The recent tweak in their chai recipe has left me utterly smitten – each sip a symphony of flavors that dances on my palate. But it’s not just the beverages that keep me coming back; it’s the people behind the counter who elevate the experience to something truly extraordinary. One blizzardy late morning, as snowflakes swirled in a frenzy outside and stress loomed heavy with impending deadlines, I found myself craving an iced dirty chai from Lovegood’s. However, upon reaching the cafe, I was met with a locked door, a sensible decision considering the weather. Nonetheless, disappointment threatened to overwhelm me as tears started well up behind my eyes but just as I turned to get into my car, a voice called out from behind me – a barista offering to make one last drink. In that moment, amidst the chaos of the storm and the chaos of life, a simple act of kindness shone like a beacon of light. Tears of happiness swelled up as this wonderful person took my order and made my drink. As I savored every sip of that perfectly crafted dirty chai, I felt a sense of reassurance wash over me. It was more than just a drink; it was a gesture of solidarity, a reminder that even in the midst of adversity, there are those who will go above and beyond to brighten someone’s day.To the barista who braved the storm to make that latte, your selflessness and compassion did not go unnoticed. You are a shining example of the warmth and generosity that defines Lovegood’s Coffee. May your kindness be returned to you tenfold, and may your journey home every day be safe and snug.In conclusion, Lovegood’s Coffee is not just a place to grab a drink; it’s a community where kindness reigns supreme, and where even the fiercest blizzards are no match for the warmth within.”
“Awesome! Nuthin else to say. If they're busy, and they usually are, it's worth the wait!! Very good service! Something on the menu for just about everyone. Can't say I've ever had a bad experience there. Pricing is very reasonable for an independent little shop. I'm always amazed how much you get for what you pay.”
“I went here for lunch and had a burger. The food was great and I was VERY happy to see the meat is from a market not to far away that I also buy from. If you're looking for a good bar burger... this is the place to go in Brodhead!”
“Amish bakery. The smell of fresh baked breads is enough to make you buy their items. Pies, breads, doughnuts dripping with glaze. Oh my! Cheese jalapeños bread is the best!”
“We are picky pizza eaters- if there is such a thing?!Love the pizza & pickles!!!Kid-friendliness: Our girls, and their friends, have always had a ball....and, they love the pizza!!!”
“THIS is what you want into a neighborhood tap room. Solid beers with a nice selection of styles. GREAT BBQ done in house! Legit brisket and pulled pork. Live music. Great beer, food, and vibe. I'd go on- but what else do need to know????? go NOW! what are you waiting for?”
“They make burgers and pizza.. all in a pizza oven. Dany, the owner, is friendly and loves his bar. This is the best dive bar I've ever been to. There is always good conversation from the regulars.”
“Wonderful lil local bar in historical bar. A few friendly locals helped me enjoy my visit. Local basketball coach and wife were awesome. Bartender billie jo couldn't have nicer or cuter. The Deb showed up too.Definitely be back for the cold brews and brew crew games!”
“There was a couple that was filling in for the bartender/cook. They were amazing! They were so fun to talk to and our food cooked to perfection! We stopped here on a random motorcycle ride and will be going back!!!”
“AHHMAZING!!!!!! Highly recommend. We got the bacon burger, Philly, cordon blue pizza, and garlic cheese curds. We have ordered before but this is by far the best food we have gotten this far! My burger was awesomely huge and everything had great flavor. We will be ordering again and so much more often. Thank you so much!!!! Delicious!”
“The local diner was closed so went to The Bar just to check it out. It's nice, clean and nice sized. The special on Wednesdays is prime rib. It was delicious! Totally didn't think I'd be eating prime rib tonight much less at a bar.”
“Very fast and friendly service with a huge selection of menu items. Family diner with kid's coloring menus taped on their beverage fridge...what's not to love?!”
“Great biscuits and gravy. They don't understand a burger comes with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles. They actually charge for the onions and tomatoes then after charging 1.50 for those you only get a almost non existent portion for the burger. The fries could be bigger. Seems like there has been a change in atmosphere there. I really dislike seeing one lady wait on me. She's limited on English and can't make a decent judgment call on things. But the biscuits and gravy are still very good.”
“We were out road tripping across Wisconsin and just wanted to stop for a sandwich. Found this place off Google maps and it did not disappoint! The service was friendly the food was good. We got subs, but the pizza smelled amazing! Everything was very fresh and the bread was amazing.”
“Wide variety of options. Able to accommodate a larger group and did very well. We were truly impressed with the quality of the food and service. We greatly appreciate the effort to make our party feel welcome and want to return. Thank you!”
“I've always had great service and food but the chicken Salad I got today was all lettuce and maybe a spoon full of salad spread out. I'll come back again and get it forsure and I hope it was just a fluke was all. Great food thoughtaste amazing”
“My whole family LOVES the food from Lin's Garden. They will make it as spicy or mild as you desire! Just ask when ordering. We've had nearly every thing on the menu and order from Lin's 3-5 times a month. There are only two people working here and this place is POPULAR so patience is something that is helpful during their busy times. I am so thankful they are located in our town. This is a carry out only place!”
“Awesome as always! We did half coffee flight and half cocoa fight, with order of cheeses curds and a cinnamon crunch muffin. The coffee and cocoas are just the right size to sample different tastes, and the cheese curds were some of the best we have ever had! Highly recommend this place!”
“I recently stopped by for lunch and opted to sit at the bar, although there was plenty of seating available in the main dining area. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by both the host and the owner, making us feel like old friends. I decided to try the Mac Attack, which was cooked to perfection just as I had requested. As a fun twist, Their grown-up version of the fried baloney sandwich, is surprisingly delicious—definitely a nostalgic treat worth trying! Both go fabulous with their beer fries or a side of beer cheese soup. This is Wisconsin! In addition to the great food, the restaurant offers a wide selection of specialty beers, hard seltzers, and other drinks. The lunch service was quick, the meal was delicious, and the prices were reasonable, making it a much better alternative to typical fast food options. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience that left me satisfied and eager to return.”
“The employee behind the counter was very nice and made 3 pizzas just as requested! She also was cleaning the counter as I walked in. And of course, washed hands and put on new gloves before starting my order.”
“Always a pleasant experience.. compared to other restaurants, the price point is fantastic.. next door at villa the shrimp is the worst in town.. excellent seafood.. huge portions for the price.. always happy ?”
“The food is definitely 4 star and pizza is the UYScuti(biggest star)I like the atmosphere but others might find it too quaint. ( Loved the neon 50's style "spaghetti" sign walking in, truly representing a time when spaghetti was a draw-in like Chop Suey). As far as service it should get 4 stars, as wait( average)And staff service was excellent. I only gave it three stars because I go there once a year ( 2 hr. Drive from Milwaukee) and the last two times, the pizza we ordered was made mistakenly. ( Substitutions such as Pepperoni on half only, and adding sausage to a veggie pizza was not done. We were most adequately compensated with free dessert for this error.) My advice: stick to the specials as is or construct your own add-ons to the basic cheese. Ps. All three "skins" as we called the crusts in the 70s as Shakey's pizza makers, are distinctively different. We get the regular which is on the thick side, again like Italian Pizza should be. The table next to us got the carb loaded pan, which looked outstanding if you want one slice and will take the rest home. Thin, I will get it next time. Beware: THIS is real 'za, no namby-pamby-everyone is making- wood fired bread and cheese sprinkles.”
“Amazing service. I walked into this subway on 10/17 as they were supposed to be closed. The employee (I don’t know her name) still helped me and was very nice! She used a coupon for me and I made sure to leave a 20% tip because the customers she had before me were not very nice. I love this location.”
“The pizza and pulled pork nachos were delicious once we got everything. The bartender was not great. If I came back and saw her there they next time I would leave. She was rude and not friendly at all. She accidentally dropped our pizza, which took 45 minutes to get, and then she brought us another person's pizza the next time third time we got our pizza, and it was excellent.”
