Have been an El Azteca patron my whole life! Although they don't have my *favorite* Mexican food of all time, their food is still delicious and affordable and the perfect casual—formal place for a quick bite, date, or family gathering. It's classic Mexican-resturaunt food, the atmosphere takes the cake with bright colors, tall ceilings, and art, and the staff is thorough and welcoming. I didn't even tell them it was my birthday, but checking my ID for a margarita had them serving me flan and singing Happy Birthday! ?? My favorite is the bean dip here—so delicious!
I had a good experience here. I had the Taco De Barbacoa. ? ? ?. I'm not a big soda drinker bit they do have Mexican Coke. Which I enjoy from time to time.I will ho back and eat here again.

Service is great, seated right away and got chips, salsa, and dip all really good and fresh to start. Drinks were fantastic, margaritas were on special BOGO so had to have 2, ordered food right away and didn't have to wait long. Had a couple kids meals, fajita shrimp quesadilla, and chicken chimichanga, and shared some tamales. Food was all good, nothing exceptional though so only 4 stars, still would recommend any of the food options at they all were flavorful great portions as well. Left with boxes for sure. Great service, A little pricey but nothing out of what's seen in most restaurants now.Kid-friendliness: Good selection of kids food options with a coloring page and crayons for them.
This is a hidden gem in Appleton. Not only is the food delicious. The staff is also incredible. They help each other out to make sure you're taken care of, and are friendly and polite.

The food, drinks, and service was good. I was satisfied with everything until I got ready to pay. The math was off with the drink specials and the 1.82 charge for paying with a card was crazy. Who pays with cash in 2023. If you question your total you get ignored like you wasn't heard. This made me want to not tip because all the extra was enough for me. I will not be returning. This isn't a good look for someone like myself who has just relocated to Appleton. If this is what dining out means here I will be cooking at home. I do not like to cheated.!!!!!

We frequent the Neenah location and have had nothing but a great experience but we stopped at this location while we were out. We dined on a Thursday evening and came for the 2x1 margaritas. We ordered 4 margaritas (so we were supposed to get 2 free) but 2 of them had no alcohol. But when we were cashing out our bill- the man ringing us up decided that the ones that were non-alcoholic were not eligible for the bogo deal. We thought that was absolutely ridiculous, so we had to pay $14 for NA drinks, so we will not be back.

Take out! We order here a couple times a month, tonight the food was exceptional! Who was the cook 11/16??? AMAZING!!! Prices are high but if you keep making dishes like tonight’s, then I have no argument!! Keep it up!
