Seriously the BEST sushi in Appleton! This place not only has the best and tastiest dishes regardless of what you order but it also has the most friendliest, hardworking staff around! The atmosphere is relaxing and cozy and the other customers are always so nice! Compared to other places Far East is truly a hidden jem!!! Absolutely top notch!!!

Best Sushi in Appleton... In fact I haven't been everywhere but of the many places my husband and I have, we have not had better in Wisconsin! Fantastic friendly service, and cozy genuine atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Plenty of no-meat or non-fish optionsDietary restrictions: They have the best gluten free soy sauce, you could also eat there no problem if you are vegetarian, or lactose intolerant.Parking: Parking is shared with the hospital, that's why they only open at 5pm. I've never had issues getting a spot.Kid-friendliness: We've brought our kids here and they've loved it, it's small and cozy so kids need to be behaved and there isn't a kids menu, so kids should already be exposed to this kind of food or be adventurous eaters.Wheelchair accessibility: The only downside to this venue is that it's not wheelchair accessible and would prove challenging for anyone with mobility issues. You need to cross the landscaping to get from the parking lot to the restaurant, there are stairs right away that you need to go up to get into the space. If you aren't eating at the bar half of their tables are in an area you need to go down and upstairs to get into. Finally the bathrooms are very very small, especially then men's. No way you could get a wheel chair in there and a walker would be a real struggle. But if you have someone who would pick up take out for you from there it's well worth it!!

Far East Korean & Japanese Cuisine exceeded our expectations in every way. The parking lot adjacent to the building provided ample space, making it convenient for us to access the restaurant. As soon as we stepped inside, we were warmly welcomed by Cody or Ted, both of whom served as excellent hosts throughout our visit. The atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect for a peaceful and enjoyable dining experience. The food itself was a true highlight, with every dish prepared to perfection. We highly recommend trying the Chicken and Tenderloin Bulgogi Appetizers, Tuna Tar Tar, Grilled Salmon, Scorpion Roll, Sake (Salmon), and the delightful Ginger Sauce. It's difficult to find anything we didn't enjoy during our meal. Far East Korean & Japanese Cuisine has undoubtedly secured its place at the top of our go-to list for sushi and more!Parking: There hasn't ever been a time where parking was difficult for any of us.

The food is worth the wait if you find yourself in this cozy restaurant! The tempura, miso soup and tenderloin bulgogi was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The sauce for the tempura was very well paired and the mix drinks hit the spot. The boss/bartender/host/server/busser is amazing and I appreciated how much care he put into the experience even though it was a busy night. Best pickles ever!
