I have eaten there many time. Their walleye is outstanding and large. Great pasta dishes. I had a chicken and Brie sandwich last week and I don't know how they could make it taste so good. I've always been happy with their service. Great place to go for birthdays. Of course there is the beautiful view.

Best scallops I’ve ever had. Incredible appetizers and ambiance. One of the best restaurants in the Fox Valley. Can’t wait to go back!

The drinks were acceptable, though a bit pricey for their quality. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The salmon we ordered seemed off, so we had to return it, it was inedible. The pappardelle pasta had a flavorful sauce but there could have been more and it was really watery. The short rib was overcooked and contained a large, fatty piece. The Brie appetizer was overwhelmed by an excessive amount of blueberries and nuts, with not enough Brie. The Caesar salad was overdressed and accompanied by a soggy piece of bread. Additionally, we suspect we received the wrong burger; the brisket elk burger we ordered tasted like a regular hamburger. Nothing special. You're essentially paying for the location at this restaurant, but there's significant room for improvement. A good place to start would be fixing the loose bricks in the path out front before someone gets hurt.

Pair your meal with a selection from their extensive wine list or expertly crafted cocktails for the perfect complement to your palate.Fratellos Riverfront Restaurant truly exceeds expectations, making it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking exceptional cuisine in a charming riverside setting. Five stars don't do it justice—this establishment is in a league of its own. With that being said, I ordered the Surf & Turf. My husband ordered a gluten-free pasta from their separate gluten-free menu. I am pleasantly surprised with this menu. It was not just a few options like other restaurants. The gluten-free pasta was perfectly done with just the right amount of heat. The Surf & Turf consists of a small lobster tail, 8 oz filet Minion. The steak was done to perfection. The cut was a bit too thick to allow for a thorough cook. I'd suggest thinking about sous vide for steak this thick. Mine, although cooked to a perfect medium rare, it was too rare in the center. The cut was just a little bit too thick. The Riverfront View is a beautiful feature that you can enjoy from anywhere you are seated.Dietary restrictions: They have a separate gluten-free menu. You do have to ask for it specifically.

Went here for my best friend’s birthday and had a reservation set for 7:30. We had to wait until 7:50 to be seated, our server seemed like he did not know what he was doing/seemed unsure, and we had to wait again for a very long time for refills on water. When we made our reservation, we were asked if we were celebrating anything, to which I replied yes, a birthday. We were asked this again. Come to dessert time, I ask if they can bring out something a little special for my friend, but they don’t offer a simple free dessert for a birthday. Frankly I had high expectations and they fell very short. My friends and I are younger, so maybe we didn’t get as much urgency or attention as other tables because of this. Overall I was disappointed.

Food is mid at best. Had a elk burger and whoever cooked it never cooked a game animal in there life. Definitely go to victorias on college Ave before here.
