Downfall - it's such a well-known place & usually packed.Upside - totally understandable why. Food is amazing (especially the wings). Plus, they have Trivia.Have visited this establishment frequently, and even as busy as they are, they still give great service - they don't forget about you or ignore you.It's definitely one of the top places on my list for wings.

This place was crowded with a bunch of drunk people in the middle of the day Saturday. (Update: it was an NCAA championship basketball game with Wisconsin playing.) The food is supposedly pretty darn good according to what I have heard.

We're blessed to have so many great fish fries in the valley but have to say that Rookie's has set the bar pretty darn high! Just enjoyed a phenomenal Fri fish fry at Rookie' s tonight. Packed at 6:30 but only a 20 min wait. Wife got haddock and I got perch. Both delicious and huge portions. Great waitresses, bartenders, and chefs. Thank you guys! Hate to give away this secret but this is the place to be. You guys rock! Thanks again. The best!

Had a very strange experience today at rookies…first time there and this older bartender kicked out the younger bartender pretty much out of nowhere and caused a scene yelling at her. The older bartender seemed very drunk and refused me and another younger guy service even though we had just gotten there recently. She also called the younger guy next to me the root of all evil out of nowhere. Definitely will not be back when she is working .

Wasn't that happy. The place was mobbed packed. Over 45 min wait to be seated and then another half hr to order Our drinks were off. Went from old fashions sweet to either selzer or something else other than sweet. Almost 45 min for food that had a taste that reminded me of not taking plastic wrap off before thawing. It wasn't good to me. Was able to send back and they took it off the bill. We will be back to try their Sunday brunch. If there is room....

Came in with my friend staff just looked at us while we walked in didn’t even get acknowledgment or an even “hi I see you.” Weren’t even that busy. Disappointing!!
Yesterday I had dinner at this place with my boyfriend and from the moment we sat down at the table the girl who served ignored us at all times, she was very rude and you could see her hatred towards us. By the end of the night the bill was 23 dollars. which I paid with my card and because of the way they treated us I DID NOT tip and it turned out that they deducted a total of 43, I am very upset because they made me feel very bad in that place and on top of that, they robbed me!????

This was absolutely disgusting. For 1 we have 2 totally different breading types of perch. That is ofd from the start. No seasoning at all. It all tasted like the oil needed to be changed or hotter. Tasted like they had a hot plated and a fry daddy. The only positive is the shrimp were cooked properly. Travelers, I'd try somewhere else, speaking as a local.
