Check out the bank vault for gift items (jewelry, teas, aromatherapy, etc). Check out the other shops in the historic downtown area!”

“I have been to this place a few times with my boyfriend. We love the martinis and wine selection. The specials are amazing, the pizza is always hot fresh and tastefully done and the decor is always warm, inviting and fun. It's a wonderful drive out there on Highway 14 from Madison - and the couple that runs the place are hardworking, beautiful and amazing individuals who provide the most wonderful tasting dishes in the area. It's a gem - and the food is always tasty. My boyfriend is obsessed with the stroganoff sauce and the Beef Tenderloin - and I had the beautiful medley special of vegetables, green pasta and alfredo sauce. They also freshly bake the loaf of bread to order so it is always hot and fresh when it is received at your table. The dessert is always amazing as well - if you aren't too full from your meal to enjoy it! I highly recommend and love this place - and I hope you will too!”

“This was stop for us in rural Wisconsin on the way to dinner and when I say rural it's no cell phone service Raul. The place is your typical small town Wisconsin bar that is very small with a pool table in the back. The decor is a hodgepodge if taxidermy, pictures etc etc. The place was mostly empty with a friendly bartender. Food is minimal with burgers and frozen pizza for the most part. Overall is a cool little place to stop at for a cocktails and a game of pool.”

“To say that this place is off the beaten trail is an understatement, but Jeff has some of the best baked goods around. You can't buy on site anymore so the only places that I know of to get his stuff is 1855 Coffee House in Mazomanie and the farmers market on the square in Madison. The morning buns and muffins are top notch!”

“First time here. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere. Ordered and omelette and everything was fresh and delicious and then tried one of their blueberry pancakes with the lemon sauce which was outstanding! Definitely need to give it a try if you’ve not been there before.”

“There was a buffet with several meat and vegetable options as well as salad and homemade rolls and ? desserts. It was wonderful. The building is an old mill and very quaint with a gift shop with homemade home goods and jellies and jams. Atmosphere is fantastic, service excellent. Highly recommend The Old Feed Mill.”
