“We drive out from Ironwood, MI because they have the best gyros around!!! We originally come from the Chicagoland area so we are super finicky about gyros but the food here is exceptional! You wont regret ordering from here, definately 5 star!”

“Nice country bar friendly staff and good restrooms. In the summer they have a party for the owners birthday that's always fun. I live near by so it's always fun to go see my neighbors. Although it's mostly older people not much for the 20 some year olds.”

“If you try to design a set for a neighborhood bar in a small town in Wisconsin it would look like this place.The bar was right down the street from our hotel so we walked down to watch part of Sunday night football and have a couple of drinks. Drinks were reasonably priced but there wasn't much of a food selection. We went for the pizza fries with marinara and we're surprised at how good it was. Super yummy.If you're looking for a warm welcoming local hole in the wall with cold beer this is a pretty good bet”

“The interior is beautiful and stylish, but the service was mediocre. The waitress was not friendly or welcoming, seemed to be annoyed with something. No one comes up to the table during the visit. We came for a quick snack, but this place is more of a dinner-type place.”

“Ashland Baking Company is hands down the best bakery I’ve ever been to…in the world.No joke.Flaky, buttery layers adorn the croissants and the fruit spreads that bask in the center of each danish appear to have been made from fruits picked at peak harvest.I drive to Ashland just for a flaky, perfectly baked cinnamon roll or a beautiful French baguette. The pecan rolls are so amazing and the sweetness is always balanced so perfectly.I am so impressed with the talents of these bakers and this bakery. It’s rare to find a gem like this one. I travel all over searching for baked goods half as decadent as these.I love that the sugar cookies are actually baked and not those doughy-flour-tasting-clumps with excessive too-sweet frosting all over them.I just left there and I got: 3 cinnamon rolls, 1 pecan roll, a brandy fruit coffee cake, 4 sugar cookies and zero afternoon plans.Highest recommendation of this bakery.”

“You know it’s going to be a good day when the line at Hudson’s is short! Everything was so delicious, the staff was kind and speedy! We had the Lucky Latte iced, the Pesto Turkey sandwich 1/2 size, blueberry crumble bagel with brown sugar cream cheese and a monster cookie! Yum!”

“This is an incredible location overlooking Lake Superior. We arrived at 8:15 pm and had miscommunication on how to access our room (contactless check in). Initial text was but received and I could not get anyone by phone. FB Messenger resulted in solving the problem. The room itself (Sailor's Retreat) was fabulous. Very spacious with a balcony overlooking the lake. Comfortable chairs in the room, plenty of lighting, glassware and wine opener provided, fridge and small sink at the wet bar area. I appreciated having many electrical plugs and USB ports in the room. The shower was huge with a regular showerhead and an additional rainfall shower. Wonderful stay!”

“I last visited the Airport Inn in 1969 when my parents, Ted & June Clubine, sold it & we moved to New Mexico. Along with my brother, Jimmy, we lived there for 8 yrs. I remember my mom doing fish fries on Fri. nights. We lived above the bar & many a Fri. night, my brother & I, who were supposed to be in bed, would race back to our bedrooms, hearing our mom coming up the stairs. Sometimes we made it, sometimes we didn't & punishment was swift. LOL It looks so different with the gravel driveway & missing grass & trees. Ah-h-h memories.”

The waitress we had was wonderful, always making sure we had refills and clearing our dishes. The pizza was outstanding, hot and delicious. “We ate here on Sunday 4/7/24 and had their Stuffed Crust Pepperoni Pizza for about $12. It was really good and the price was very reasonable, but we were looking forward to dining in due to the windy wet cold weather outside. They did not have a water or ice dispenser inside which was inexcusable and disappointing. We had no water or ice and we bought a 2 liter and had no ice for it. We ended up leaving and having a picnic at a local park and had to stop elsewhere and buy ice which was a hassle. On the way home from vacation today on 4/10/24, we ordered the Pepperoni Pretzel Pizza for only $8. We took it to go again this time and had another picnic and the pizza was absolutely delicious and was a great value! We ordered online and the pizza was ready right on time and the clerk at the counter was friendly. The only thing that is keeping us from leaving a 5 star review is the lack of an ice and water dispenser. All other fast food places that we frequent provide complimentary water and ice with our meal purchase.”
