Stopped in for our first time lunch and was pleasantly surprised they had a brunch menu on the weekends. Tacos were great. $5 margarita special was an added bonus. Our server Chelsea was very informative, personable, and all around great.

Service was exceptionally slow. It was moderately busy and they were understaffed but we waited 10 minutes to be greeted and another 15 minutes for a Topo Chico and a Jarritos. Our tacos arrived before our drinks. The Ninja Pig taco is tasty.

The staff were very happy but it was a facade. My associate and I ordered and the food came out quite quickly; however, it was mediocre at best. Then, my associate and I experienced the worst bowel movements we have ever experienced in our lives. My stomach was physically convulsing while we waited for the bill. For hours after we did not recover. Beware.

I have been going to BelAir cantina for about a decade now. I love how great of a deal the Tuesdays and Thursdays taco dinner specials are. Overall they have been great throughout the years. I do remember that I stopped going for a certain amount of time a few years ago for some inconsistencies with the food quality. Yesterday for lunch however, I was pleasantly surprised! I think that they must have recently gotten a new kitchen manager or some new chef, because the food quality was the greatest I've ever experienced. First off. The chips were nice and crunchy and all of the salsas were fantastic. I used to have a favorite, but they were all good in their own way. I absolutely love tacos and can eat them daily honestly. I typically like to get super authentic Mexican tacos and those are made best at home (I am a professional cook), or found at some legitimate taco trucks honestly. However, for the $3 price Belair offers on Tuesdays and Thursdays and the rice with beans comes free after three tacos are ordered, that's a steal! Now the reason I think there was a recent kitchen staff update is because I don't ever remember the tacos being this good. I wish I would have taken a picture! The sizes were even larger. The meat was actually moist, flavorful, and juicy. I hate dry tacos but these were great! The corn tortillas were soft and fresh and there was a great citrus/salsa balance on each taco. The steak was actually tender and juicy, the pork for carnitas was succulent and seasoned well, and the chicken for spicy pollo was also executed properly. I also really appreciated the great service with the ladies working at the bar. I think her name was Kate, I didn't get the other one's name. Very kind, respectful, and prompt service. I hope that the kitchen continues to cook the food quality this well 100% of the time because I will be going back in the near future. Always be kind and courteous to your restaurant staff, you never know how far a kind word will go. And tip well when you go out! This staff at the Belair in Brookfield deserves it! Keep up the good work!

I was at BelAir last night with two friends and had a terrible experience. We got there at 6pm and it was a 20 minute wait. After 30 minutes we were seated. It took 10 minutes until a waiter came by. He took our drink order and it took another 20 minutes to get our drinks! And one of the drinks they were out of. Not once did he even acknowledge the delays. The worst part is that the chicken in one of the tacos was completely raw. Absolutely disgusting. I will never go back.

We sat at a table for a half hour or more before the waitress even came to get out drunk order. The salsa was like water and the ground beef was dry and tasteless. The margaritas how ever were very tasty. Won't be back!

We were told our wait would be 15 minutes. After 30 we went to the bar and were able to order right away. Our view from the bar was a sink overflowing with used fruit, ice, and straws. It smelled horrendous. Instead of emptying the sink, they kept the hot water running to melt the ice.

I loved the restaurant itself, but the food there was very good. It's located in Brookfield, Wisconsin. But the bathrooms are very nice and clean.

Food was very good. Our server was very attentive and at our table at all the right times. The bathroom was pretty messy. Not dirty - just not attended to well.
