Friday fish fry is outstanding. I had baked, wife had fried. 3 nice sized filets each. Full slice of bread. 2 big potato pancakes & cole slaw. Had to put my big boy pants on to finish! Only the pancakes were a little bland. Best value around.

Good service, excellent food. Came from out of town for a show and stopped here to watch my team in March Madness because it was nearby. They were playing soft country music but had all the games on. I asked if I could get sound on one of the TVs for my game and they checked with the manager and put it on for the whole place. Had trouble deciding among the plentiful and lovely sounding options on the menu, but I went with the burger on special, the sak-it-to-me, with the veggies. The veggies were beautifully cooked, with garlic, butter and pepper, and the hamburger was perfect, with a slightly crispy pretzel roll. I was plenty full after that, but as my game got into the second half, I was tempted by the Ruben egg rolls. Instead I went with the fried pickles as a good nervous energy snack, and it was a huge plate of thin slices, again perfectly cooked. I come to Brookfield every so often and will definitely be back.

Went for lunch recently. Sat at the bar - bartender was very nice, friendly, and efficient. I felt bad because not only did she have the bar but also quite a few tables in the bar area taking her away from the bar. Good bloody Mary, kind of disappointing beer selection for what is basically a sports bar. The bar has all sorts of whiskeys on display but no whiskey list to know what prices are. What is it? A sports bar or a whiskey/scotch/bourbon bar?Ordered traditional wings because reviews were good. And they were pretty good, I would agree. They came out quickly, were very hot, and the garlic buffalo sauce definitely had a great garlic smell and taste... though could have been more spicy. However, I got the bill and regretted it. $20 for 10 wings. $2. EACH. What? How? I know we had a shortage a while ago but it felt like price gouging! Way overpriced. I will not likely be ordering them again unless they go down in price.

This was my first visit to Bullwinkles. I ordered the French onion soup, which was good, and my mother had a bowl of tomato basil. Her bowl was huge! The service was a bit slow for 1:30-2pm. The bar area was quite loud, but the back dining room was quieter. I also ordered the Southwest salad. I was expecting some chicken with flavor. It was dry and flavorless. The avocado dressing that came with it was sparse and flavorless. The salad would have been better with a Chipotle ranch dressing. The salad fixings were good and plentiful. The menu was appealing to me, therefore I may return to try some other items.

Do not get the Philly cheesesteak. On each half of the sandwich, there were 3 pieces of steak the size of the mushrooms. Absolute waste of money. Ordered the potato skins and they were cold on the inside. Haven't been here in about 15 years. I now remember why.

They had a Super Bowl party. But failed to tell customer that if the game goes past 8 pm, they will not serve food. At 7:30 we were told the kitchen was closed. Then the game went into ot. So we ordered more cocktails but was informed that the owner of bullwinkles closed the bar at 8 pm. Lol ? ? ? silly business plan. Don't think I'll go back because of this jamoke move. We had to move our Party to Prime Cigar. Man, did they welcome us in and take care of us!!!!Thank you, Prime Cigar. Class act!! We really appreciate the service we got. You changed the whole night from being a flop into a fantastic night!!!

It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a delicious meal and watch football.I also have to mention the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure my dining experience was a memorable one. They even recommended some other dishes for me to try next time, which I can't wait to come back and try.Overall, I highly recommend Bullwinkles to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.
