Aftet making a reservation and providing both phone number and email so they could "contact me about my reservation, " when my group got to the restaurant we were greeted by a sign on the door that said "Sorry we're closed." A phone call or text letting us know that would have been nice. There were several other people/ groups in the parking lot that also had the same issue. This is not the kind of treatment I expect from Jake's.

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. The bone-in filet was memorable and will now be my go-to choice as long as it's available. We look forward to our next visit, as always.

We arrived 10 minutes before our 8:00 reservation. Checked in at desk and host told us he was sorry but we probably wouldn't be seated for 30-40 minutes. I had reserved standard table in dining room and he conceded that but he said it was slow that night. He could seat us in the Bar. It was chilly from the front door. I had to wear my coat all during dinner. We were on a raised platform and my chair was close to the edge and even the waitress kept reminding me not to move backwards for fear I'd fall off the platform. Host did buy us the first round of drinks but I was really disappointed that our guests did not experience the rustic dining room with fireplace. Food was outstanding but the ambiance wasn't there. We'll think twice before visiting again.

First, the hours of operation on the web page, google, and another app, were all different. Opening times varied from 4:30, 5:00, and 5:30. Very confusing. I've had many good meals at Jake's but feel this time my food was subpar at best. The New York Strip should be taken off the menu, it was not good. For the amount spent for our group it was so-so. The staff was great as always but Jake's will need to be put on the back burner for a while.

Awful service. Waitress was so slow throughout the night and only showed attentiveness to one table. Asked for steak sauce and didn't get it until we were done with our dinner. Place was half empty so didn't see any excuse for this. Won't be going back to this place.

My wife and I booked a reservation on Sat for 8PM and arrived at 7:30. We were told they were slightly behind, which was not a problem. We sat at the bar and waited until 8:45 before we were seated. After ordering, the waitress came back and indicated they were out of squash. She then came back a short time later and said they were out of lettuce. We adjusted our order and continued with the evening. When the meal arrived my wife's steak (ordered medium) was well done and dry; my salmon was also over done and dry. The crispy Brussel sprouts (signature dish) were burnt. For the prices ($$$$) charged this was nowhere near the quality expected. Based on this experience, we will not return and cannot recommend this restaurant.

The food was amazing. Our server was absolutely perfect. I loved that as soon as a dish or glass was finished with it was removed from our table to provide more room. It was a touch pricey at 61 dollars for a strip. But it was nicely prepared and the temp was spot on. This was my first experience at Jake's. We will be back.

Our steaks were great, unfortunately our waiter was very hyper & spoke very quickly. We had to ask him about the specials, rushed us into ordering, never refilled our water glasses, & only offered us one dessert. When we questioned us further he admitted there were others & he would have to get the tray. We asked for refills on our coffee, & he brought one cup luke warm, & the other too hot to drink. I ordered an ice cream drink which was just milk when he brought it. After questioning him we found out the freezers weren't working so the ice cream melted.

5 star restaurant! The steaks and onion rings are top notch. Warm bread served to table with drinks. Nice touch. Always excellent food! The service was wonderful and everyone was so welcoming! Thank you for a great date night out!!
The Monday night filet special is definitely worth stopping in for. Always cooked to perfection and flavorful for a nice price of 19.95. The server was very attentive, friendly, and polite. The other entree tried was the Jake's Burger. A decent quality burger; however it really did not need two sides. Maybe lower the price a tad and eliminate a side. Or have that as an option for smaller eaters. We used to go to Jakes Burgers when it was still open. We will be back! Overall, a non-rushed enjoyable dinner!

Party of four on Saturday evening. Service was slow. One couple's food did not arrive until 10 minutes after the rest. Filet was over done. Generally, Jake's has excellent service and the food is superior. This evening, not so. Average at best and only fair to poor in some aspects.
Service was pretty rough. It took about 20 mins to get two drinks. We waited almost 30 minutes for an appetizer. Porterhouse was decent, but other area steakhouses have far better quality for the price. Sides were both small and lacked flavor. Glad we tried it, but don't plan on returning.
