In contrast the fish fry was excellent and 5 stars, both the Italian breaded and beer battered variety were crispy, hot, and not greasy at all. The perch fillets were large and had good flavor. The beer batter was lighter and thinner than many places and was tasty. The prices on all were very good value for the area.Kid-friendliness: Kids meals were a bit pricy, but a 14" was a great value for two of them with plenty of leftovers.

Ok. So. I went this past Friday with some co-workers for the fish fry. I'd say we were there from 5:45 to 7:30. I ordered the 5 PIECE PERCH (beer batter coating: yummmm. I asked for a baked potato which now I can't remember if that was an extra charge or not - sour cream, butter, & tartar sauce were also available. My fish was super awesome and the pieces of perch were big. I was a happy camper. Our server was perky and very accommodating. She was very busy, but gave us great service nonetheless. I see the restaurant only has a 2.6 rating. I didn't look at other reviews, but a co-worker who lives nearby the restaurant and has been there a handful of times said "she has heard" that the place has high turnover which is possibly due to an "eccentric" Owner, who was present, along with his 2 dogs ( that night were behind a doggie gate in the office.) We also shared our visit with pesky fruit flies, but weren't bothered by them - possibly overlooked because we were enjoying our food so much. I'd go back for sure for perch. As a matter of fact, I had my leftovers the next evening, and the perch were just as beautiful as they were the night before . that being said, I'm still giving the place a C+, I don't think a lot of people would put up with fruit flies during their meal. I secretly was thinking where's Gordon R to give his 10 cents.

This was my first visit. I stopped in for the Tuesday pizza special. I was greeted and seated promptly by a friendly hostess. The service was phenomenal and I wish I could say the same about the pizza. I usually love canned mushroom on my pizza but these were the palest, blandest mushrooms I've ever had aside from mall pizza. If you're a cheese lover, you may love this pizza as there was enough cheese on it for 2 Pies. I got pepperoni and there are 2 kinds of pepperoni, regular and smaller ones with a lil kick. I loved the crispy edges and wish I could have enjoyed the thin crust more but the cheese and grease turned it into mush. There was so much cheese I could barely taste the sauce. I did start with garlic bread, which was buttery and very tasty with a balanced amount of butter and crisp. The special comes with a pitcher of beer or soda. For the price, get beer. The pitcher of soda was half filled with ice along with our glasses. I personally think there should be ice in the glass OR the pitcher, not both. I would try this place again but would order light cheese and no ice in my pitcher. The pizza special price has to be one of the best values around though!Parking: They must have nights with entertainment because the parking lot is HUGE!

1. Heat needs to be turned up. Everyone in dining room was eating with their coats on and complaining. Not enjoyable.This is an ongoing issue every winter2. Our 2 pizzas were barely warm. Served on cardboard. Assume someone in the kitchen mixed up and thought they were for take-out, and pizzas sat awhile before realizing they were for dine-in.3. The edges of one pizza were burnt. In the past, we have always enjoyed the pizza and frequent often. We will.try again, but if the dining room is cold, we won't be back.4. FIVE Stars for Tyler. Great server with great personality.
