There was no chicken available for us that night. We ordered burgers which were cooked perfectly and very tasty. The french fries were great. A couple of boozy shakes later and we were very happy. The staff was friendly and efficient. Great little place.

The atmosphere was fantastic as was the food. I will return when I'm back in the area. Make sure you have a Sharpie when you arrive... You'll want to sign the wall, table or your chair!

Funky little place trying to channel a dive bar. We headed here for lunch as it was walking distance from the immigration offices where my son-in-law had just been officially sworn in as a new US citizen. Giant tasty burgers. Fast, friendly service was very welcome.
We were in Milwaukee for the day, and decided to try what is commonly referred to as the "Best Burger in Milwaukee", and it didn't disappoint. I ordered the "Milwaukee" (description in menu pic) with tots and a cold PBR. It was cooked to a perfect medium, and didn't need any condiments at all. Our server, Sammi, was adorable and bubbly, and did an excellent job of making sure that we were taken care of. We travel to Milwaukee often, and plan on returning.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a couple of beers and an appetizer. Good beer selection and the curds were good. Sat at the bar and the bartender and server (Celeste) were very friendly. They ran bombers of peanuts for the kids including some candy thrown in for halloween. It is a small place, so it is a good wait for food at prime times but definitely somewhere to visit when in downtown Milwaukee.

This took 35 minutes for a simple burger and fries... so NOT A PLACE for a QUICK lunch grab. I Ordered hamburger with grilled onions. Amazing !! and waffle fries.Got an amazing burger. Simple but so much wholesome & worth it $7. Ate it and didn’t have time to finish it start on the fries. Now realizing the fancy box wasn’t my waffle fries not chicken fingers.. most of the time chicken is too Cooked dry or tasteless or something but this is great.. so I’m not complaining of the mistake. But kinda disappointed I won’t be having my waffles fries.. But maybe they though I could use more fowl proteins than carbs lol ?Suggest more quality control or you should check on ALL your orders before you leave.

My family and I were in Milwaukee just for one day and wanted to try fried cheese curds and custard that Milwaukee is known for. AJ Bombers was perfect to satisfy both wishes. Their fried curds with a spicy aioli was delicious and AJ has the best booze custard shakes! Our burgers we also really tasty. I’d definitely recommend a visit!
