“This is not s review of the restaurant as much as it is a rant and a cautionary tale: when you get your hot coffee and you drive away from star bucks with the little drink carriers in your lap, drive slow.The car I was in started quickly out of the parking lot, and my hot chai tea spilled out of the carrier into my lap.And onto my foot.And now I have a second degree burn on my foot and first degree burn on my lap.I blame the car and the drink carrier, they were out to get me.0 star experience for my skin.5 star experience in the drink the driver had to calm themselves down so they didn't freak out about my burns.“
“My friend and I visited this shop Friday. It is so cozy and the staff is super nice. We each got coffee and I got a delicious breakfast panini. Near the end of our visit I grabbed the big breakfast rolls, a red velvet and cream cheese muffin along with a pistachio muffin.All of it was delicious. We wi definitely be back and I have told a bunch of people about this place.“
“Bassett Creek Saloon is a hidden gem! The service is phenomenal and so was the atmosphere! Everyone from the staff to the patrons were incredibly nice and gave several recommendations of what to try.We started off with fried portobello mushroom slices which were amazing. For our meal, we had smoked pulled pork sandwiches with a side of potato salad, and a side of the smoked chicken pasta salad. Everything is homemade down to the bbq sauce, and was super delicious. The sandwiches were extremely generous, and the meat melted in your mouth like butter on a stack of flapjacks. The smoked chicken pasta salad was super flavorful, and had the perfect blend of smoky, creamy, and seasonings, and no shortage of smoked chicken. The potato salad was rich and creamy and one of the best I've had in a while. One of the patrons asked which we liked more between the potato salad and the smoked chicken pasta salad and we couldn't decide because both were phenomenal. As someone who normally passes on coleslaw I can honestly say I ate it all and almost ordered a second cup. Even the pickle was crunchy down to the last bite.There wasn't a bad bite in the entire meal. We definitely will be coming back next time on a Saturday for their ribs and to see a duck race! Couldn't be happier to have found this spot!!! Amazing food and amazing service at an extremely fair price, what more could you ask for?“
“Such a cute and fun spot that I stumbled upon. I wanted a coffee place I could use wifi and have a nice atmosphere. This was so fun to see not far from home and the customer service was great! The barista recommended the matcha and it DID NOT disappoint. Get the matcha!“
“Visited recently to enjoy coffee inside. Greeted by very friendly staff. Order was handled professionally. This was our first visit, so we were not familiar with the layout. But the staff was very friendly to help us understand where to locate things. The atmosphere is very impressive. Rustic look. Vibrant colors. Spacious. Inviting and friendly. Large windows let in great sunlight during the day. Perfect location on that square downtown. I look forward to a return visit.“
“Such a cute place! The owners are incredibly kind and I personally recommend getting an affogado! So refreshing to have a scoop of icecream with coffee poured over it on a hot summer day. I also love that they’re supporting local artists through selling their work here.“
“Very busy location for the Starbucks. In the summer months, and sometimes during the winter, Lake Geneva is packed with tourists. Sometimes the wait time for a cup of coffee could be as much as 20 minutes. It goes with the territory. Most everything in Lake Geneva is within walking distance, and there is limited parking on the streets. If you order ahead, which I highly recommend, it should be waiting for you when you get there. Well managed shop, and the staff is very polite and knowledgeable. Definitely a return trip.“
“We went for a Thursday night open mic night and had a great time. I don't drink coffee so I have never been in the Coffee House, but it is beautiful inside and so much larger than I would have thought. Thanks for hosting such a fun event!“
