About 15 minutes outside of downtown Lake Geneva, this is a hole in the wall burger joint. My family and I love coming here for a casual meal and are always fully satisfied. The homemade chips are DELICIOUS! They pair nicely with any of the burgers on the menu. They also have a French onion dip for the chips that elevates them even more. The mozzarella sticks are also very good.

Food was GREAT as usual. It was fairly busy and we sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly but very busy taking other orders from others at the tables. At 1230 pm on a Saturday afternoon they could use some help for her. SHE WAS VERY FRIENDLY BUT VERY
Have not been to Fred's since I lived out in Burlington many years ago. But the food is still delicious and the atmosphere is great. The bar tender was super nice and friendly and easy on the eyes. I will definitely be back more often, just for the food

It's been over a year, but we HAD to come back (made the trek from Illinois). We started with the Frings and a bowl of their chili (SOFA KING GOOD). For lunch, I had the Jack Chicken sandwich and she had the Jam burger w/ garlic.Why did we wait so long????So good!!!!

One of the greatest burgers in the world!That may be a bit of a stretch, but these are some seriously good burgers. They’re definitely up there as far as the best burger in the area. Don’t skip the homemade chips though either. Those ARE the greatest potato chips you’ll find anywhere!
Absolutely incredible burgers and delicious fries. Four of us ate burgers, three got soda, and one order of fries: $40. That's the best forty bucks we've spent in a long time. I had a bunless olive burger, and will be dreaming about it until I get another!
