We stopped in, and were so taken back (in a good way) just how between the amiance & service you feel like you're at home. We were fortunate enough to have been taken great care of by Janel, and on top of that we attended the "opening of the new coaster package" which does not happen often locals say. GREAT JOB JANEL!!!!!!!

I stopped here for an adult beverage because the place down the street completely ignored me. The place has been a bar since 1899 and it shows somewhat because it was remodeled in the 70s and I'm told that it's haunted. It has character with the wood ceiling and stone fireplace. April was my bartender and did a great job as the face of the business with pleasant conversation and the history of the place. I'm glad the place down the street ignored me because April was more deserving of my tip.

A hole in the wall bar inside of a house in small town Wisconsin? Sign me up. Love this place.

Small place with an allegedly haunted past. The bar is a standard small town WI bar and the crowd matches. This was all fine but it was the drinks that caused this to be a low score. We ordered a whiskey water, a 7 & 7 and a rum & coke. Nearly all of them tasted like virgin drinks and it appeared the liquor was floated on top, not actually measured or poured into the drink. For $4 I guess that's what you'd expect for a double ??♂️
Dale let us in early and gave us a lot of info on this the oldest bar in Wisconsin. Good prices.

It was ok. We probably would of had more fun. But the bartender was well over served. Everytime you wanted something. You had to wait for her try and finish what she was doing. Then remember that you wanted something. Needless to say she was very slow at everything she was doing.
