My wife and I did a day trip to Cedarburg for a Small-Business-Saturday-on-a-Sunday kind of thing. As we were wandering around the mall, we smelled a tantalizing aroma of broccoli. We found that it was coming from the floor below where we were. We walked into Cream and Crepe Cafe and found that is where it was coming from. Sure enough, broccoli soup was their soup of the day. Super cute cafe next to cedar creek. The service is fantastic, the ambiance is quaint. The food is a bit underwhelming. It has more Wisconsin touch than anything: very creamy, with lots o cheese and salt. If you are looking for a cute breakfast place to catch up with friends, this is a great place; but if you are searching for food that will excites your palette, this may not be the right place.

This place has been a staple of Cedarburg since the early 1990s. My dad took us here for lunch when we were kids, and not much has changed about it. For that, I'm grateful because it's simply a great little spot to grab a bite to eat while enjoying downtown Cedarburg.
