6-8 years ago I bet I went to this place atleast 1 day a week for breakfast. Food was amazing. Was my favorite place for breakfast. Now days though the food is not good. Service is mediocre. And twice in the last week I've drove there and it was closed or had a note on the door. Not serving breakfast. In the last 5-6 years this has happened to me atleast a dozen times. And they didn't serve breakfast for almost 2 of those years. I hope the new owners can return it to glory. Unfortunately I'm only giving it one shot with the new owners. I'm tired of being disappointed by this bar

This place is a mixed bag. The absolute best part was our server Evalynn. Booth seating was comfy. First problem was soup & salad bar. Soups weren't out when we were there. Lettuce section weirdly had deviled eggs next to it, then pasta, potato salad, coleslaw, cottage cheese; lettuce toppings were at the opposite end of the salad bar. So I grabbed my lettuce, went to take a couple deviled eggs and the tongs for the deviled eggs had a long brown hair dangling from it = blegh. Shuffled down to the left, but didn't want pasta, potato salad, etc. Woman lounging in front of salad toppings claims she was the owner's girlfriend and was waiting for spoons for the dressing. Simpleton could have grabbed a spoon from the nearby container of spoons to grab her dressing, but she didn't (her quirks don't reflect on the review rating, but owner should know a quack is claiming to be his girlfriend). As far as salad toppings, they didn't have croutons, shredded cheese, or sunflower seeds out. Major bummer. I had the fish fry. Deep-fried fish was good; hashbrowns with cheese was the ONLY time I've had a cheesy hashbrown casserole served to me (instead of crispy hashbrowns with cheese sauce) and it was bland, and the coleslaw was terrible. My hubby had the French dip sandwich with waffle fries and he enjoyed the French dip and said the fries were nice and crispy but tasted like fish, so they weren't keeping a separate fryer for potatoes. Again, service and booth were a 5. The rest made our rating go lower.

Don’t recommend- first we got ripped off when I ordered a Bloody Mary and it was $7.50 for a “Bloody Mary bar” which really only consisted of a few meager fixings to add. Then got fish fry and paid $15 for the fish fry which was literally 3 small pieces of cod literally DROWNED in grease. It was so gross. We didn’t get our coleslaw OR our dinner rolls which supposedly came with it. Waitress didn’t check on us not even once until the end to give us our bill. Never go there again.

Just enough food portionsDo not expect to take any home that’s the game being played now.I asked for a piece of toast after dinnerSo I was full.. because they wouldn’t bring me another roll for dinnernot anything too exciting …Two stars because the cleanliness is better now than before ..

Wife and I were in the neighborhood and had heard their ad on the radio and figured why not. So glad we did. Arrived shortly after 7pm and were seated immediately. The waitress (Dana) took our order and served our drinks. We order our fish fry with the salad bar for an extra $3 well worth it. I had the 6 piece perch dinner which was phenomenal, wife had the baked 3 piece cod. Needless to say we took leftovers home. A very pleasant laid back atmosphere. Will definitely return, possibly to try other items on their menu. I will highly recommend anyone to stop and give it a try.

The food was raw and couldn't even get are drinks right then the bar tender got aggressive it's just a spot for over poor drinks definitely skip the food and a dirty kitchen
Excellent food,service friendly staff one of the best salad bars. Friday Perch and cod very good.. Everything is homemade soups ,salad bar items, cheese curds

Asked the bartender for a drink as she stood right in front of me. Heavy acne blond. Waited twenty minutes for the beer. Then she went and asked the guy sitting next to me what he wanted. And brought his beer. I said something about what happened to my beer? She denied seeing or talking with me. What are you hiring and why should anyone come here????????
