Wow!!! The food and service here were absolutely fantastic. I would say this is better than Chippewa Family Restaurant even! The fries were light, fresh, and airy and needed no salt by themselves. I would say they are probably the best fries I have ever had! The rest of the food was also very fresh and the service was beyond fantastic with being able to get in and out within an hour! We will be going back soon!
Last Friday's lunch date with my guy at Sid Harvey's was so satisfying! We ordered the Two Piece Battered Fish Fry with Hashbrowns as well as the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with Fries. The waitresses were really prompt and friendly. We just went with soda for beverages but they do have a regular Friday special where beer and wine are $2 so we will definitely partake of that when we stop back on a Friday for dinner. The food is very good and service is attentive but not overbearing. The Coffee Clutchers aka “The Breakfast Club” have obviously known each other for a while and their mostly friendly banter is always entertaining. If I was forced to come up with a complaint I guess it would be that they’re not open for dinner. I bet that kitchen could produce an outstanding dinner menu if they were ever so inclined. In conclusion I highly recommend Sid Harvey’s Family Diner!
