Like everything, the prices are outrageous. $30+ for me and my wife to have a simple sub, chips and drink. What is really offensive is the tipping. You are not a restaurant that waits on tables. You should not tip for ordering "freaky fast" subs at the counter. The card machine throws the tip % in your face. Then to select nothing you have to hit "other," press zero, then it recalculates (to the same amount) and you have to swipe your card again. Basically in attempt to make customers feel guilty about not tipping employees who get an hourly wage to make subs. I tip good for someone who waits on me in a restaurant. Tipping is out of control in this country. Out of control. In addition, where Jimmy John's drops the ball with their food is the cheese. It is a paper thin, transparent slice. Im sure adding extra will be another $5.

When you order online, start the order when you get it. Don’t wait until the online order shows up at the door and ask what you ordered. What’s the point of using the app?

We waited an hour and a half for our “freaky fast subs”. I called the restaurant to check on my order (45 minutes after we ordered) and we were told they were on their way. We continued to wait, so I called back 1.5 hours after I ordered. The manager, Sarah proceeded to tell me there was a warning stating there was a long delivery time and she actually hung up on me.We received damp subs that we ended up throwing awayI never received a message about the long delivery time in addition I have an email that clearly states it would be a 30 minute delivery.I would recommend avoiding this location and try one of the other small businesses in town.

We waited 1.5 hours for our delivery. Our subs arrived damp and definitely not fresh. When I called to ask for a refund/or new subs I could pick up, I was hung up on by the female answering the phone.

In our busiest day of the year at our school they messed up the order (w/ an allergy concern mind you) and then refused to fix it or even reimburse us for 1 sub. Manager (Sarah) was beyond rude. Bring your business anywhere else.

Don't go near this place. We had to change our order and they did the refund wrong and refused to correct their mistake. So we are dealing with the bank to get our money back. $200 plus dollars. Train you employees.

Not a good experience - Ordered a #9 Italian sub - plain "regular"bread - and clearly specified NO ONIONS ..... They requested a tip at payment even before yo see or eat it...purely counter ordering, counter pick up process.... Gave them a 10% tip ((( amazing they have the gall to suggest more for purely counter service) Got home miles away - discovered the sandwich had ONIONS in it.... I can't take onions .... They ruined my sandwich.... got a tip .... $10 for a bad sandwich ! - never again !!

I’m really starting to dislike Jimmy John’s in Deforest. I love the food so I’m not gonna stop eating here. I just wish they could get my order right. I always tip good but for some reason it just seems like every other time I order literally every other time I order it’s never right still waiting on the manager to call me from an incident that happened a month ago all in all it’s good food if you’d like freakishly fast subs go here but make sure what you want is what you get?

I've been eating at this Jimmy John's for the last 8 years that i've been living in De Forest. The store is fantastic, the staff is good and even recognizes me and does little things like not giving me forks/bags that i don't need (I like to reduce the amount of plastics needed for my order).From time to time the store gets very busy or backed up, but that is not common.I really enjoy the seasonal food choices that happen and the new Salads are especially delicious.Kid-friendliness: Decent amount of room, shouldn't have issues dine-in with children.

Subs were fine, expensive but that’s everywhere. But the music was so loud in there I couldn’t have a conversation with my lunch mate. Asked them to turn it down but they didn’t. ??

Not even answering the phone. They just pick it up and hang it up at 5:20pm on a Sunday. I tried three times now to order for delivery. They hung it up every time. I'm going to subway.

I like to start saying I usually have no problems ordering food whatsoever and find their delivery very convenient.I called to receive some cookies that had been left out of my order and was told they would be sent over quickly. I call again 50 minutes later wanting to get a refund only to be told my order was already delivered to the high school (How it was delivered to the high school I still don't know.) and they had no idea why I was calling. I was told they couldn't do anything and was hung up on promptly like I was being annoying. There must have been some miscommunication I didn't realize but it's frustrating.I don't ever write paragraphs or reviews but this just left me confused.

their food is really yummy and super affordable they're seating area is really clean I recommend coming here plus I have to mention the men's bathroom is the coolest bathroom I've ever been in
