My fiancé and I go to 1878 often and the service, food, and atmosphere are amazing! Our server Derrick is great and always very attentive. Derrick is professional, courteous and hard-working. He definitely makes the experience memorable.

This was our first time here. It was amazing! Our serve Brenda was amazing. She took very good care of us. She brought us out a glass of champagne and dessert on the house for our anniversary. If you’re celebrating something, let them know! We will definitely be back.

NIce resort layout, good food, fun golf course and very hospitable service, including Stacy. Here for a wedding which was done very well and lakefront is gorgeous.

Great place overall, but I have to be honest and say be sure to not pay these steak prices - the quality of the cook has been inconsistent every time, from filet to ribeye, better reverse searing at home. The apps & drinks on the other hand have been great, can’t knock any points there, taste to presentation are detailed well. Last tip, the downfall of this restaurant (by assumption) is the numerous events held at lake lawn. Fantastic for the groups, but the restaurant feels the stress of those events and the other restaurant guests take a hit on service and quality, aim for weekday trips here.

A hidden gem! My wife and I have been here twice.Dress seems to be casual nice to semi-formal. The atmosphere is great and can support a private couples date night talk, or an enjoyable family conversation over a great meal. The current 4.1 star rating from the 97 reviews is far off from the excellent service and food quality. Or they’ve greatly stepped up their game. They definitely deserve much more than that!Brenda and Paige were friendly and attentive. In a new restaurant, I like to check in with the servers to discover what seems to be the most popular dishes. Brenda and Paige were able to confidently provide recommendations.Definitely worth checking out and brining your friends back. We’ll be back!
