My friends and I stayed at Lake Lawn Resort recently for a conference. We decided to get dinner at Waterfront. The place was busy but we were seated right away. The waitress was great and checked in often. I ordered the Friday fish fry which was tasty and very affordable. I reccomend checking them out if you’re in Delavan!

If you're looking for prime rib this is not the place for it. This was the worst dining experience I ever had. First time in my life I never left a tip. Service was that bad. My wife ordered onions on top of her prime rib. She ended up getting onion rings instead. We have to hunt our waiter down to let him know that we want it mushrooms on mine. The prime was as tough as it came. No juice to dip our meat in. Instant mashed potatoes. Frozen broccoli as a side. With no bread on our table. All for $31 plus extras for the mushrooms. Let me put it this way. I had a hamburger for $5.75 at Chris's USA bar in Burlington. I enjoyed that way much better. I have to tell the bus boy that I needed my bill after waiting long enough for it. Sorry I took my wife out for an enjoyable evening there. They need a lot to learn about food service.
