We love this place. Service is always very good. Staff is friendly and food excellent. Prices reasonable too. Fish is fried or baked. For a very nice change you can get vegetables as a side with fish fry.! And a lettuce salad.

We walked in with a group of 20 adults, unannounced! Imagine the “Panic” that went through their mind! They immediately went into action, putting tables together, salsa & chips on the tables, drink orders taken and food ordered. NO PANIC, just very organized & efficient. In a few minutes the food was served, drinks were refilled and at all times the staff were very pleasant. We were there for a late lunch. Most ordered off the Lunch Menu Specials which were mainly Mexican. The Lunch specials were all $9.25 which included your drink (soda, coffee or tea). Free refills on the drinks. The total bill/person with tax, less than $10.00. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food which were large portions. Sunny Side Up Restaurant is adjacent to a Mobil gas station, just a couple of miles south off I-94, on Hwy 67 in Dousmam. The Restaurant is clean with multiple tables & booths. The bathrooms were also clean, updated and roomy. Nice, casual restaurant with good food, large portions, clean bathrooms & friendly, efficient servers.

Authentic Mexican food they way it suppose to be. Huge servings. Great prices. Service is outstanding. Didn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes for the meal to arrive. Small family owned restaurant nestled in a Mobil has station. A full menu of all the items expected.

Lunchtime visit to the Sunny Side Up was well worth the time. Friendly and accommodating waitstaff had chips and salsa on table as soon as I sat down. Ordered a pork filled burrito which arrived warm and covered with melted cheese. It was more than sufficient for a lunchtime meal. Restaurant is in large room with vaulted ceiling, pine wood ceiling and walls, plus plenty of ethnic colorful wall decorations. A large (10' X6') portrait dominates the room. It portrays a young reclining lady in a white dress. Seated next to her is a young Aztec warrior holding his head in one hand with an expression of dismay. When asked, the server said, "That was me before I had children". She went on to explain that it portrays the Mexican version of Romeo and Juliet. The mountains in the background can be seen from Mexico City. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served between 6AM to 9PM. Spacious interior with booths and tables. Located just off of State Road 67, there is ample parking and a gas station next door.
