“Wonderful restaurant - a new favorite! The service here is fantastic. Karla was our server and she made our evening so much fun. She went out of her way to make recommendations, offer a few tastings of beer and cider, and just made for a delightful evening! The food is fantastic - and the atmosphere especially the views of the lake are great. Highly recommended stop for a relaxing evening!!“
“I'll start with the atmosphere, it's fun, lively, and friendly people. There is Packers Football memorabilia EVERYWHERE, past and present. Fun place. Food, I had the broasted chicken and it was good, I'd order it again. My husband had a hamburger and he said it was great. Service, well as with everywhere you go since Covid, they are short staffed. Those who were there were working hard and fast. Very friendly, courteous., but food that was ordered did get forgotten . We told them and of course it was removed from the food bill. All in all, we will go back again, food we did have was good and we did enjoy ourselves.“
“A busy Fish Fry Friday in February. The fish fry was excellent and came with ample portions sizes. Homemade chips accompanied with French onion dip was a nice touch. Sweet potato fries were plentiful and excellent. I enjoyed the baked cod while my wife had the delicious liggtly battered perch.We will be back!“
“Mike is a wiz on the food and Brandie and Mike are very attentive to everyone. Remember the show cheers, yeah but in SugarCamp Wisconsin. They have turned this into a nice place for food, drinks and atmosphere. I know they are working on the curb appeal and will get there but don’t let that scare you away from this place. “Great food in a great up north local bar. If you have never been there, you did something wrong. If you will be in the midwest, it would be a cardinal sin if you didn't swing through. The parking lot can accommodate most land vehicles and even some water rigs.Parking: If the parking lot looks full, look again. “Outstanding. Some of the most outstanding hospitality we've experienced in the Northwoods. Black Forest Pub & Grille was a real treat tonight. From the engaging conversation with Collin and Mike at the historic Bar to the vivacious charm of our server Kat - our food and dining experience far surpassed our expectations. My seared Salmon was perfect and the handmade fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp was buttery and creamy. Make the drive as soon as you can, you'll be glad you did. Ask for Mike & Kat to enjoy their enthusiasm and Northwoods hospitality.“
“First time eating at 32 South today and terribly disappointed. Chicken sliders and fries were lukewarm at best and an incredibly small portion for the price. The fish tacos were flavorless. The beer cheese bow ties and the beverages were the best part of our meal. The owner walked past us twice but never asked how our food was. When we paid, the bartender (who was great) asked how everything was and we explained. She recommended we speak with the owner but he was no where to be found. We will not be recommending 32 South when we speak with others in the northwoods.“
“My wife and I stopped in for a bite to eat with my uncle. We ordered a pizza and some cheese curds to come out first. The curds were delicious and the pizza that followed was excellent ??. Every one of the staff was friendly and made for a pleasant dinning experience. The owner greeted us when we entered and took time to visit with us before we left. Highly recommend this place. Look forward to eating here again.“
