Dark roast is Great!!DEcaf is Chemically decaffeinated thus tastes TERRIBLE.Please care about customers and sell naturally decaffeinated coffee. (water process removal).

Great place as always! Friendly batista and they made one of the best cortados I've had. The grilled cheese was pretty good. It's fun to be able to bring a dog. I usually walk with my friend and this is a convenient stop right off the trail. The prices are about average. I like the choices in seating-you can sit at the bar, on a couch, a high top table, or a bistro table. The vibe is very chill.

Never been to Racy's. Never been to Wisconsin. Never ever been to the United States of America or even that side of the world. Only know about this place because of the Ezra McCandless case. I've been following the case on dreading's Youtube channel and I just had to look up pictures of Racy's because it's such a big part of the case. The food and the vibe looks great though.

Love the coffee love the food I will however say that this place is full of snobby broke hipster types who love to talk about themselves so much so that they would talk to any stranger just to get a chance to talk about themselves. Like the over annoying want to be hipsters who wish they lived in New York or Seattle or something or like Portland but they live in freaking Wisconsin or something.

One of my favorite study spots. However, I wish they were open late the way they used to be.

I ordered coffee which was fine. The French toast stuffed with cream cheese was overwhelmingly awful. You would think the cream cheese is mixed with a sauce or something for flavor but no. It’s just plain cream cheese and it was about a half inch thick of it in the French toast. The sandwich was okay. Food is average I would go for the French press for food.

Never been, but if this place was a band from the 1990s, I'd say it would be Better Than Ezra. I think most people would agree. Pour one out for my boy Alex.

I have never heard of Eau Claire, never visited Wisconsin and only rarely visit the US, but I have to say, the way the people talked about this place during the various proceedings that followed Alex's tragic exit make me think that this is one special place. Maybe I will visit one day, just to try to understand what makes this place, and its patrons, tick!Best wishes to all and (very) belated condolences to everyone affected by the tragic events of 2018.

What a great place to get coffee, socialize, work, etc. Racy's has great coffee, baked goods, and it also has a great restaurant (The Nucleus) in the same building. They have tables available and also couches/chairs for a more comfortable experience! There are some parking spots available in the back or street parking is an option. They also allow you to use reusable mugs, so feel free to bring them if you're getting a drink to go! Edited review based on business response: Based off of the Visit Eau Claire website for dog friendly places, I previously understood that Racy's was dog friendly. It indicated, "Racy D'lene's Coffee Lounge - You and the pup can enjoy a laid-back morning or afternoon at Racy's together. Their coffee and sandwiches and pastries will be a real treat for both you and your trusty four-legged sidekick." It appears that is not accurate and dogs are not allowed inside the building. Article link - Still a great place to visit!

A unique spot, kind of a funky, bohemian, laid back vibe. Coffee/ espresso quality is top notch, great baked good, friendly service.
