We stayed with our 10 and 4 year old for a little family getaway, and we were AMAZED at how awesome this place is! The staff even decorated our room for us since we were celebrating a birthday, plus included some coupons! Affordable, clean, and you’ll never run out of things to do. Stuff for kids of all ages, and the adults too! The convenience of having multiple food options on site, as well as gift shops with everything you would need was a HUGE bonus for us. I’m truly blown away at how great of an experience we had at this resort, and we can’t wait to come back!

Waited over an hour for food, server never once checked on us. My daughter’s hamburger was inedible as it was still pink. Charged us 20% gratuity automatically. Go anywhere else but here.

Foods pretty good, just don't expect to get all of it; each visit the server either gave us what we didn't want (alcohol to my pregnant wife) or missed a part of an order altogether.They were polite though.

The atmosphere is great! The food was really good. But the service was really slow on Saturday afternoon. There weren't too many people in the actual restaurant, however there was a craft show happening across the hall which could have made the service slower. BUT mostly we weren't impressed with the server herself. Very first impression of her was that she didn't want to be there and almost like we were an inconvenience to her for being there. When she stopped at our table to check on us she barely stopped long enough to hear the answer. Just not the best service experience.

I visited Action City for the first time with my grandchildren. We went stayed in the hotel and I was very happy with the service there. Danielle at the front desk was very kind and happy to help! We went and visited the action city area at 6pm for the glow in the dark jump. It was great the grandkids had so much fun playing even though they are only 3&4! There was a young man named Ashton in the trampoline park and he made conversation with me all night it was great he was kind, funny, and made the trip all the more fun. We had pizza for dinner and it was awesome you would never think a arcade could make a pizza that good! 5/5 WILL be back!
Great place for a family vacation. The only sad thing is, they don't have enough things for the toddlers/younger kids to do outside of the swimming & play area in the jump zone. Need more games geared to the little kids so they feel included.

Such a beautiful atmosphere so sad service is lacking..we wanted to give them a chance though other reviews say to steer clear..we were staying at the hotel such convenience to have this beautiful restaurant downstairs..walked in for breakfast, one other table, 3servers, 1bartender, not acknowledged by ANYONE. Didn't say to wait to be seated so we sat ourselves & waited patiently. Waitress walked by with food for the one other table..nothing was said no hi, no do you need menus, NOTHING. While all three servers stood behind the wall we sat there like idiots. After a good 15minutes we left and went elsewhere (The French Press was AMAZING btw). Just sad! So convenient for hotel guests menu selection looks great but service lacking. We own restaurants too and ALWAYS give the benefit of the doubt in this industry but in this case it really is best to steer clear.

The food was all amazing. Every aspect down to the fries was done perfectly. The brand new atmosphere is very nice and clean. Prices were right on par. Was cheaper then I expected being it's location in a theme park. Was a great experience

Walked in around 2, bartender made our drinks and we asked for menus. Only one other family in there and they cashed out within 5 minutes of us being there. 30 minutes go by, both of us had empty drinks for 15 and 30 minutes total had passed and she still hadn’t come back to us. Ended up walking out. Didn’t get her name. As a server I was appalled by not only the lack of service, but also by her sticking both of our glasses in the ice instead of using a scoop. I would definitely recommend taking your business elsewhere for food

Lots of fun for the family to be had here. The waterpark is small, but fun and engaging. It is best for younger kids, as there are 2 large slides. Bigger kids will have fun with the big slides and swimming in general, but will likely want to go to Action City more than the waterpark while at Metropolis. The hotel is overall pretty nice and the beds are very comfortable. The price for a room is relatively expensive for the room that you get, particularly for a smaller community like Eau Claire that isn't overly far from the big resorts in Wisconsin Dells that have similar prices and epic waterparks. Minor gripe, many of the channels on the tv didn't seem to be working in our room, but we didn't spend much time watching TV anyway. This is a great option for families with young kids if you are looking for a small waterpark or for families with older kids that love the arcades, laser tag, go karts, etc at Action City, which is attached to the hotel. Kids of all ages will enjoy the trampoline park in Action City as well
